Packaging ruins them
As others have stated, the plastic ties go through all of the towels in multiple places and leave holes/frays. They have also added inspection stickers on every single towel now. Target has been doing this to more and more towels. I won’t buy these again.

Packaging needs improvement
These are excellent quality and beautiful but the way they are packaged damages the towels. They use those plastic retail tags through every layer of the towels at the top and bottom ultimately putting holes in ALL of them in multiple places, so you're left with damaged towels before you even open them. If they could figure out a better way to package these, they'd be 5 stars all the way.

For me the towels are exactly what I was looking for. I do not use the towels to wipe up spills. We use them to wipe our hands off after we wash our hands in the kitchen. They’re thick and wide, launder and dry good. I would definitely buy again

Perfect, except the packaging.
Great size, weight and absorbency. They would be perfect but they come tied together with a tight plastic fastener that leaves a hole in the towels and causes the material to fray. Brand new towels with a hole in the middle. I will use and love them while they last. Not smart packaging. My socks used to come this way until they figured out to sell them in a plastic bag.

The quality of the towels is very nice; however, I ordered the color "yellow" and was extremely disappointed when they arrived as the color is somewhwere between puce and tan. They are definitely not as pictured on Target's website.
