I am using my two bookcases primarily for books but, as additional shelf space for a number of small items, as well. The overall quality of the bookcase(s) is very good considering the material used for the various unit panels. I think some information should be included about leveling the unit (both side-to-side and front to back) once it is put in place. All floors aren't exactly level.

The product was easy to assemble and directions were clear. This is our third bookcase.

Super cheap. Cracks and scrapes easy. Don't recommend for the price it's garbage.

Shelves look great but instructions are not as good as could be. The bottom did not fit quite right and a little piece broke off, luckily I was able to glue it together.

Three years ago I bought two bookshelves (identical to Al). I was so impressed I bought two more. Quality is great, assembly is very simple. I'll assemble in a big open room, then two wheel dolly it into place for final destination. Then fill it with my many many investment, psychology, negotiation, and law books. I enjoy feeling more organized and have wonderful visibility of all of my books I can choose from for evening reading each week 👍😊

This is the 2nd bookcase we have purchases this year and they are beautiful, heavy, sturdy and easy to put together following the detailed instructions, holds tons of books-no problem....if we need a 3rd it will be this one to match the other two!

Sturdy bookshelf

Poor shadow of Sauder past. Finish cloudy with handprints extra. Chips in finish. Oozing adhesive at seams discolored surrounding areas. Exposed mating surfaces required staining to mute/hide. Letter stickers left residue. Best of all: shelf peg holes don't match side-to-side - had to mill my own shims to level the shelf. Erie J. Sauder (founder) probably rolling in his grave. Sauder was our family's first choice - not any longer. Only good news is that I did not pay MSRP. Even so, still not worth the cost.

Poor quality, Chip board. You had to be very careful installing this product and putting it together. Product looks nice after being completed but as I said, you had to be careful putting it together.

Worked out beautifully for my wife's books in her home office

The fit and sturdiness are impressive. The instructions were quite simply the best I've ever seen. Made the assembly go smoothly. Top notch job on this. I will buy again from this manufacturer.

I like how sturdy it is an I love the color. The one thing I didn't like is some of the pieces weren't labeled. So I had to guess.

I now have 3 of these exact bookcases. I have several other pieces of this line and color and really enjoy them. I've never had any trouble with any of the Sauder products I've owned. I also have other Sauder products in my house. This is a very trusted brand in my opinion.
