Don't buy this product. The wire that slices the cheese is not taut enought/has too much play, so it bends as you try to slice your cheese. The wire does not go into the channel, and when you push to make it go into the channel, there is too much play, therefore does not cut all the way thru the cheese. (I did check to see if anything was loose. It was tight. I tried to see if there was a way to tighten it. None that I could find)

Lousy customer service and website
The slicer works fine - until you run out of the replacement wires included with the original purpose. After that, good luck finding any more wires. Target's web site and customer service people are completely worthless in locating replacement wires.

I bought this item to be used for slicing cheese for a wedding. I was able to slice one pound before the wire snapped, not a big deal it comes with two extra wires, however when changing the wire the screw that holds the wire snapped in half as well. Now I have a $20 paper weight
