Q: can you use this paper to do oil pastel drawings? we are learning how to use oil pastels and thought this might be a good option

This sketchbook reads that it has 160 sheets on the front of it but 80 sheets in tiny print on the back. The truth is it has 160 pages, 1 front and 1 back page, for every one of its 80 sheets of paper. So the "160 sheets" on the front of it is not true. Target should ask the company to fix this. The paper is nice, but with only 80 sheets, the value isn't as impressive.

Great art pad for kids. It is a little difficult to rip the pages out on the perforated line, so you end up with the little bits of paper everywhere when you try to peel it off, but that’s not the end of the world.

Can’t go wrong with this. I want a million for this price. Love the fun vibrant hard cover and elastic, and the paper is a good weight for various purposes. Everyone in my house has one and we keep it in a designated spot for a quick grab. Ok. Let’s go! It’s time to…draw/paint/design/hand-letter/play a game, and just lots of creating!
