Outstanding oil pastel
I didn't expect this high quality oil pastels in the art set. This oil pastel is much more oil based than Pentel. So it blends really well and creamy like lipstick. Wonderful! Good starting mediums for beginners. You don't want to start with not too good quality art mediums as a beginner because you will easily blame on your skills not the supplies. Then you will think art is not fun, I am not good at it. The bottom line, this is a great set for any beginners.

This is a cute art set but I do have an issue with the case. It’s a bit rough and unfinished. I think maybe sanding it down would be helpful to avoid splinters. I think it’s a good value.

I bought two sets, took out the coloring items from one and fit all of the items into one of the cases for my granddaughter- and I kept the extra wood box to keep my laptop, bills, etc., in when I don't want a huge pile of headaches in my way all the time.
