    Helpful Friend

    My mother used to give us a spoonful of cod liver oil each morning when we were kids. As an adult, I find that Carlson's Carlson's Cod Liver Oil Gems-Lightly Lemon are a much easier way to get my daily morning dose. It's a good Omega 3 source and helps to keep my joints "oiled".

    Cod Liver Oil You Can Swallow

    These capsules are completely palatable, no wrinkled up noses here. And I started using them when I was advised by a friend that this was the best form of fish oil for us to digest and for our bodies to utilize. Who knew our grandmothers were right all along!

    Personally, I just can't take CLO in liquid form, so these large capsules work well for me. All the benefits of fish oil in easy to take softgels.

    THE CLO

    it works. i was using carlson's CLO for years on and off (can't always afford it), and i found it does make a wonderful contribution. i definitely can feel the difference when i'm off it. I'd go into greater detail, but swanson's will pull my review if i do. There's no fishy taste afterwards, just lemony flavour. Also, note that capsules are made of beef gelatine. I want to minimize my intake of animal products so i just break the capsule and squeeze the oil. I find it's better than buying a bottle of pure oil because it goes rancid if you don't use it quickly, even in the fridge. When it's in sealed capsules it's better preserved. I take 10 capsules a day for a better effect, 5 is not enough.
