Q: Does this Abreva contain doconosol ?

A: No it doesn’t. It just helps with the pain, burning and cracking. You still have to use the regular Abreva that contains doconosol to treat it. So you need 2 products.

Does not work
No rapid pain relief, I pit it on as soon as I felt a tingle and blisters spread. I normally use Burt's also but had an important event to attend and got desperate in buying this. Should have known to stick to what works. It also left a scar which I still have going on 2 months now. No pain relief at all. Blisters were absolutely painful

DO NOT USE
DO NOT BUY this product! I have used the original abreva in the past and decided to try this product. BIG MISTAKE! The cold sore spread and took 3x the amount of time to heal. Actually, after a month and a half, area on lip is still tender. Also left a scar on my lip and skin. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Would give negative stars if I could!

Not Effective at Pain Relief
This product is intended for pain relief from cold sores, not to be confused with Abreva Cream, which is designed to accelerate the healing process of cold sores. Surprisingly, this product offered no pain relief whatsoever. I did not feel any pain relief or effects from lidocaine. I would not recommend this product nor will I be buying it again.

Be cautious
Be cautious of this product, I’ve use Abreva always from my yearly cold sores that happen around this time of year , but this product flared up my lip & made it puffy. Doctor believes it may of been an allergic reaction to it, so don’t make my mistake and stick to Abrevas other products…

We have always used Burt's but tried this because he had a major flare-up. It made him bleed, and one isn't healing. We switched back to Burt's, and it helped immediately. We won't be using this again.

Endless results
