I decided to buy this with the cold sore treatment. All you have to do is put on the cold sore treatment first wait 30 mins then apply bandage. You can wear it over night or during the day. You’ll see the bandage turn clear to white that’s when you know it’s working. Love it.

how have i not heard of these!? these cover so well. way better than viewing my golden crusty scab healing. and they protect to heal! even my husband noticed and said it hides them better. i usually dont have a double outbreak but holidays have been stressful. I'm buying more boxes to have on hand. I did go through a few circle patches, till I got the concept and liked the placement. barely noticeable unless you zoom in the pic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for these patches but were a disappointment. My first patch I applied with abreva and it stayed for a couple hours. However, the next three I tried without abreva did not stay for even 5 minutes. So I tried it again with abreva again, it did not stick. I have no idea if they shorten the length breakout because they didnt stick long enough to find out.

Covers cold sores good to wear overnight
I do like that it keeps cold sores covered. I think it’s best to put them on overnight so that the medication can do its thing. Unfortunately a packet of only 12 patches for $7.99 is pricey and really not enough for me because I get cold sores pretty bad and sometimes 3 blisters at a time. So since I used 3 patches for each they only lasted me two days. It does hurt a little when taking the patch off, it lasts a few hours but then it starts to come off. However after the first day I did start to notice the swelling going down, but the cold sores still active, whereas with a good brand topical ointment it stops the cold sore a bit quicker.

Peels Off Faster Than My Sanity
Whoever designed these clearly never met a real cold sore. These bandages barely stick to clean, dry skin let alone over a crusty, sore, painful lip volcano. The second you move your mouth? Gone. Try to talk? Gone. Try to drink water? LAUNCHED off your lip like a frisbee. They’re not invisible. They’re not effective. And they sure as heck aren’t worth the price of disappointment. You’re better off using scotch tape and a prayer.

I have used other brands like these and thought these would be the same while saving me some money. Wrong they go on fine at first but within hour of being outside and being hot they start messing up the other brand didn't do that it stayed on

I use this in combination with the cold, sore treatment by the same brand. I used the treatment and then put the bandages on top over it since the bandages have no actual medication in them. The accommodation of the two made my cold sore go away in about two days. You definitely can’t put makeup over them, though I tried to and you can see the bandage edges on top of the make up so it doesn’t sit well with makeup honestly. But if you want to keep it covered and hidden, it definitely works. It’s like a pimple patch for a cold sore pretty much.

i would not bye again
i put it on my lip when my cold sore was still small and i went to bed and woke up with my cold sore 3x bigger. it still spread, it’s really sore, and it was hard to come off, it does not kill the healing time either. for me i feel like it made the healing time longer

This product is absolutely horrible. I bought it to prevent my toddler from touching my cold sore and possibly contracting the virus. However, this product literally ripped off my cold sore scab leaving my lip completely raw and bloody. The healing process took twice as long and was extremely painful. Don’t buy this!!

Cold sores
First time trying these to hide my yearly cold sores. Although its not to cut the healing time (doubt anything works) BUT it 10x makes it better and it absobs some of the nasty from the cold sore so it cleans up well. Maybe the regular pimple ones might work on the cold sores as well? These are a bit more pricy than those.

Nice relief
I don’t get cold sores often but if I do and don’t catch them in time, they turn ugly quickly and last way too long. I’ve only used these once but I noticed relief right away. It also deterred me from touching it which I’m prone to do.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but i have high hopes that it will be a useful product. They look to be an ok size, could be a bit bigger or have a few different sizes to choose from, i think that would be helpful for some people.
