Q: The magnetic ends of the accordion won't attach. Is there some tape or something missing?

A: Hello - Thank you for your interest in the item. If the magnetic ends are weak, you might want to use glue to attach them. I hope you enjoy the product. - Jaime

My kitten likes it. The magnets do hold it together! Right out of the box it seems so weak and I also thought I bought a piece of trash. However, make sure to fully stretch the toy right away, and do it a few times more the following days. Now there’s no issue and the toy doesn’t open during play, magnets seem strong. I took one star off: if the ball inside was a little smaller, it would roll better and would be more interesting for the cat. I replaced it with one I had. Otherwise the given ball sometimes gets stuck. Another thing: add instructions!!! Then you wouldn’t have as many disappointed customers…

Seriously, skip this. I didn’t read the reviews beforehand and only came here seeking info after trying to figure out what in the world I was doing wrong lol. The toy seemed to have no way to connect the ends to make a circle. The magnets would barely stay connected, even when I was manually holding it together. Just placing the item gently on the ground would cause the circle to break pretty much every time. How did this make it past product testing? If it won’t even stay connected with no outside interference, how did they think it would work when a crazy cat got its paws on it 😂. No wonder it was on sale. Oh, well. Dud purchases happen from time to time and this will certainly fall into that category. A good reminder to research products before buying! See photo for my cat’s response. Blank stare, couldn’t even be bothered to get his paws at the ready lol.

I wish I could give this a zero out of 10 it comes as a block and says it has a magnet closure. It absolutely is garbage and a waste of money.

My cat loves this but as other reviews say the magnets don’t hold it together very well. It’s also showing a decent amount of wear after the first day.

Item only has four small magnets to hold it together. It does not hold it together. After reading a question posed by another buyer, a Target staff responded stating to use tape to hold it together if the magnets fail. Why should buyers need to MacGyver the product just to get it to work? Return, return, return. What a disappointment.

Fun toy for our kitten. The only thing I don’t like is that the magnet to keep it closed is not very strong. I superglued the ends together so my cat could continue to play.

The small magnets are not strong enough to hold the ends together. I do not recommend buying this and will be returning it.

Ugggg! Do not buy this toy. The magnet em lusher that is supposed to hold it together doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t work as a circular toy without help. I had to crazy glue the sides together in order for them to stay. Not worth the price. So disappointed.

The magnets aren’t strong enough to have the toy stay together, so it’s worthless. The point of the toy is for the cat to chase the ball around the circle and if they magnets aren’t holding, theees no circle. I’m returning it.

I bought this as an impulse buy and wish I’d take time to read the reviews. As everyone else has said the magnets are nowhere near strong enough to keep this in a circle. I had to use gorilla glue. And none of my three cats are even remotely interested in this toy.

This toy is much smaller than it appears in the ads and is held together by magnets that separate with a light slap. Only buy this if you want to buy something to recycle.......

My cats loved this! Great value for the price. The magnets are a little weak, so it sucks when the magnets disconnect and the ball gets lost.

Meh. My cats don’t seem to care about this toy. I actually used gorilla glue to keep it together because the magnet was very weak

Should have read the reviews, the magnets that hold the circle together do not work. I ended up supergluing it together, so annoying.

I should have read the reviews first, because I agree with what everyone else is saying. The magnets are far too weak for any cat, and falls apart as soon as they start playing. I’m going to try gluing the ends together because my cat is obsessed with this toy (when it’s not falling apart).

This is awful. The magnets WILL NOT HOLD which is the whole gimmick of the toy. Can’t even see if my cat is willing to use it because it doesn’t even function as described. Huge waste of time and money

This was truly a waste of time and money...you need more than one ( and they are not cheap) They didn't stay together and the cats don't play with them at all...
