Description

The AeroPress is ideal for any coffee lover looking for a rich and smooth cup of coffee. One pressing with the AeroPress brews one to three servings of American style coffee or one to three servings of espresso style coffee which can then be used to make delicious lattes or other espresso based drinks. The AeroPress also makes smooth, rich cold brew coffee in around two minutes, unlike typical cold brewers that require hours of steep time. It's a great addition to any kitchen but since it is durable, lightweight, and compact, the AeroPress also makes the perfect companion when traveling, camping, boating, or just going to work.

  • A: Yes, this unit includes 350 paper Micro-filters.

  • A: I got mine two days ago. It comes with 350 filters!

submitted byDeniD - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes. It did when I ordered mine a couple of years ago. So presumably it still does. It came with something like....80 filters?? I don't remember the number.

submitted byBaffled Regular Customer - 5 years ago

Q: Does it come with the funnel, the stir stick, the storage bag, FFS, why don't they list everything you're paying for?

submitted by Dave - 29 days ago
  • A: Thank you for your question - we apologize for the confusion. This product includes includes: the coffee maker itself (chamber, the plunger, and the filter cap), paper filters, scoop, and stirrer stick. Best wishes, AeroPress, Inc.

Q: what is the max temperature rating for the device?

submitted by MidnightIrisT1D - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello, AeroPress can be used with boiling water for brewing coffee. However, we recommend brewing with 175°F (80°C) water for dark roasts and 185°F (85°C) for medium and light roasts to get the best flavor in your coffee. Best wishes, Constance, AeroPress, Inc.

Q: how many tablespoons of coffee can you put in it at once and still squeeze the water through?

submitted by MidnightIrisT1D - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello, AeroPress can produce up to three cups of coffee. To make three cups of coffee, you would use 3 rounded scoops of coffee (using the included AeroPress scoop). One rounded AeroPress scoop of coffee is 3 Tablespoons. Therefore you can put up to 9 Tablespoons of coffee into the chamber before stirring and pressing the water through. Best wishes, Constance, AeroPress, Inc.

Javally challenged here lol Wow it’s so easy and the clean up is quite satisfying, my house fights over who gets to pop the puck. It definitely takes a few tries to get your preference. Don’t give up! I like to make two espresso-style cups instead of adding additional water, so strong and yum!

Perfect Purchase

There are hardly any purchases that are this perfect. I am a coffee novice, having ventured into this wild and weird place about a year ago, and quickly buying up nearly every way to make coffee. I had this on my wishlist and put off buying it for about 8 months. I wish I had bought it first, because then I wouldn't be selling a cold brew maker, pour over makers, a drip coffee maker, etc. It took some coffee that I thought was horrible (I almost spit it out) and made it into a good cup of coffee. It's super easy to use, cleans up easily, and makes perfect coffee every time. It doesn't even take as long for my kettle to warm up because the brew temp is lower. If you've been putting off buying this, don't delay any longer. It is as revolutionary to coffee as his Aerobie was to Frisbees.

This thing sold out near me (Skokie) in about 3 weeks after Target had it available on their website and I understand why. Due to me hesitating buying at first, I ended up driving 12 miles to purchase it because it sold out quickly. This thing looks a little complicated to use, have no fear it’s easier than you think. This product makes amazing quality coffee and you taste the low acidity right away. I felt like I had cup of coffee from a good local coffee shop (I used “Illy” 🇮🇹espresso coffee). The clean is not bad either. Solid product overall.

I purchased this on recommendation from a family member for an upcoming camping trip. It's light weight, small, easy to use, and makes a better cup of coffee than my k-cup. It's also a vast improvement over most hotel coffee makers. You can easily brew into a mug or thermos, and can do cold brew as well as hot. It comes with a pack of disposable paper filters (100?), filter dispenser, scoop, stir "key" and easy to follow directions. You have to provide the mug and a kettle or carafe to heat/pour water. It has directions for American and espresso-style coffee plus lattes and cold brew. I definitely would buy this again and plan on using it at home, not just on the road.

I cannot explain how much I love this product. It's so simple to use, easy to clean, and makes a clean flavor of coffee. The acidity is so low, even when using basic grocery store brand coffees. This is replacing my Keurig AND my Nespresso machines!

This makes the weakest coffee - like dishwater. And it makes a horrible mess. Very upset that I forgot to return it within the return window. Definitely regret this purchase.

I have been using one since 2010-ish and recently bought a new one. The old one still work but it is in the travel/camping kit now. There are many videos of how to make coffee using it (I use the inverted method). One tip if you get one and do not have an electric kettle. I played around and know that 2 cups of water from my refridgerator in a glass measuring cup takes 2 minutes and 52 seconds to heat to 170F in my microwave. That way I get the same tempeture coffee everytime.

Hands down the best coffee. So smooth, so not burned, and the aeropress looks hard to use but it’s actually very easy, like as easy as a French press. Honestly I can’t drink any other coffee now.

AeroPress does a good job of making espresso-like coffee, which can be adjusted into Americanos, lattes, and even cold brew. Clean up is quick and easy, and you can store everything on top of the filter storage after you're done and the equipment is dry. I was hesitant about whether this would do well when I bought it, but now I'm glad that I did. Side note: this is best for making 1 serving at a time (8 oz. max.)

Bought this to make espresso martini’s, and it worked perfectly. It’s definitely not as quick and easy as a regular coffee maker, it requires you to be a lot more hands on. Worth it if you’re interested in good espresso, and not willing to spend money on a Nespresso.

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it and swears that coffee tastes better with it. He hardly uses his regular coffee maker anymore. The only complaint I would have is that you have to use small filters for it. I will be on the lookout for reusable filters or filters made from recycled materials to reduce waste.

Easy to use but coffee comes out weak

3 out of 5 stars
Source Checker - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
Debated buying one of these for a couple of years since I own a drip and press. I watched a bunch of videos on how to use it but it's a huge hassle and the coffee still comes out weak. I wouldn't recommend buying one unless you've had the chance to try someone else's first
1 reply from AeroPress team - 1 year ago
Hello Source Checker! We are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying the taste of your AeroPress brewed coffee. Sometimes the coffee can taste weak because the water is running through the ground coffee too fast. That is usually because the coffee is ground too coarse. We recommend a grind somewhat finer than standard drip grind, but not as fine as espresso grind, to make sure that the water isn't running through too quickly. So, it may help to adjust your grind. We hope that this helps. If that doesn't help, please do feel free to reach out to our customer service team for more help at info @ aeropress . com. Best wishes, AeroPress, Inc.
