First of all, the AeroPress Go is capable of brewing an espresso-style concentrate for use in lattes and other coffee shop beverages, unlike a French press. The paper filter in the Go keeps grit out of your cup (unlike a French press), and the fast brewing process produces coffee that has one ninth the acid level of French press brewed coffee. With the Go, you can brew coffee in around a minute, unlike the several minutes it takes to brew with the French press.
