latch stiff and hard to open and close
I find the design of this handle difficult to open and close due to it only having one handle as apposed to our previous machine had two. It also requires quite a strong push to close once a pod is inserted. The milk attachment is very user friendly. The empty pod holder is too small only holding 6 large pods or 10 small and lastly, the water tank placement at the back of the machine is inconvenient.

it is the milk frother it doesn't work it quit shortly after I bought my machine. I have a very small kitchen where I live and thought it would be perfect for here but I was wrong.

Problems with milk drinks
I have a similar problem to what others have reported. The machine was awesome for a while and now will not make milk drinks. Coffee is fine. No leaking or other problems. The machine just seems to not recognize that the milk container is connected and none of the milk drink buttons are enabled. I've checked the door, making sure the container is fully inserted, the knob is on milk and not rinse, etc. I did get a couple of years out of the machine, so better than some others. But there is obviously a design flaw of some sort that affects the reliability/longevity of the milk side of things. Which is unfortunate considering this is a fairly expensive machine.

This machine is terrible! I have had to use 2-4 coffee capsules to get it to make a cappuccino. Sometimes it won’t work at all! Frequently every time I turn it on it will only brew a large espresso. it won’t accept the latte or cappuccino option. so I end up with mnothing or black coffee and have to warm the milk in a separate accessory and add sepately. I have wasted over 10 coffee capsules. is this a scene to sell more capsules. I have to buy another machine so I can have coffee in the morning as usual.

I bought this less than 2 years ago. Broke last April, sent it back to get worked on. Got it back, it broke again in September. So now I have an expensive machine, with a ton of coffee just sitting in my garage. So do yourselves a favor.... DO NOT BUY THIS. I wish I didnt.

Burnt Tasting Coffee
Haven’t been able to use for the past two years due to the coffee constantly tasting burnt/old. I’ve descaled, ran warm water cycles between cups of coffee and I cannot get rid of the taste. Very disappointing for the cost of this machine.

I have had the Vertuo Lattissima for a year and it is a terrible machine. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this machine. The coffee is not hot. The machine puts way too much air/ foam into the coffee. The machine stops working randomly and requires you to connect your app and it probably won’t connect. I can’t get the machine to work with milk anymore. This is a terrible product.

Great Machine

Bad. machine
This product is garbage. I have owned 5 Nespresso machines and this is the worst. The pod capture is a complete mess and very poorly designed. There is no way I empty the pods without creating a huge mess. The cover inconsistently closes, the machine is loud as a banshee and it sometimes makes a partial cup of coffee with a full water tank. Awful, replacing it with a simpler machine.

Does everything I need it to do
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time for a new machine. Have been a virtuo customer for several years. Love the product. New machine works very well. Especially like the fact that I don’t have to remove the water tank to fill it up. Built in frother makes the whole experience very easy. Clean up is easy as well
