Agri-Fab 130 Lb. Push Broadcast Spreader

This is everything I wanted for a push spreader. It holds enough for me to do the entire yard in 1 fill. With the pneumatic tires, it is easy to push and maneuver when loaded. Easy clean up when you’re done, just spray it out.

The 130 lb. 45-0614 Agri-Fab spreader is a well designed spreader that wasn’t to complicated to put together. The video on You Tube was of some assistance and made the assembly a breeze. The spreader is made of quality parts and will last a long time. After assembly I used it to put fertilizer on the lawn and it works flawlessly throwing a 10 foot wide path and cut my work time down considerably. It’s easy to push and a pleasure to use. – Thank you Agri-Fab for a job well done.

Assembly problem discovered when attaching drive wheel onto SS shaft with misaligned cotter key hole being about 1/4 inch too short causing the drive wheel axle hole and shaft hole to not align. Could not push cotter key through both components. To hopefully fix this mess I then had to first disassemble other wheel from the shaft and create some lateral play of SS shaft, then after that I finally installed the drive wheel onto the shaft with a thinner cotter key that I had with some force. Simply, the hole in the SS drive shaft was not bored in the correct place.

So easy to push even with full hopper. I appreciate the positive and easy to set flow control.

Works really well with rock salt and feels solid while pushing.

Assembly took about 1 1/2 hours. You Tube directions were very helpful! I can't rate the performance because I haven't used it yet because it's January, but is very solid. Hopefully it does a good job of spreading. Made in USA is number 1 reason for buying this product besides a lot of good ratings!!

I have been using Scott’s Brand broadcast shredders for years and continue to replace them due to light duty rating. The Agri-Fab is tough as nails and I get applications done in half of the time. Great investment.

Should be made with edge guard and deflector to keep material from spraying onto your legs

I have not used it enough to give it a true rating yet. Easily assembled. The quality of the materials is what you would expect for this type of equipment. I do like the large tires. It was a bit expensive for what you get. However, the price is in line with the market.

This is a big, burly, walk-behind spreader. We have a very rough yard, and this unit with its larger wheels and strong frame rolled over it easily. Assembly is fairly involved but went smoothly for me, thanks to three things: (a) the parts are neatly packaged and all of them were there; (b) everything fit together perfectly; and (c) an excellent, printed instruction manual that takes you through the process in a detailed, step-by-step fashion.

Just what I needed. Well built and worth the money.

My old spreader was too short and would hurt my back bending forward so much to push it. This spreader is so much better!!!

I quickly & easily applied 600lbs of pellet lime to my wildlife food plot. Very comfortable handle position. Clean-up was also quickly done compared to my Utility Tractor Cone style spreader.
