The Agri-Fab 85 Lb. Push Broadcast will help you fight the sleet, snow, ice, and cold that winter brings. Spreading rock salt and ice melt will be a quick and easy process in the harsh and cold winters thanks to the 85 Lb. Push Spreader. The large 10 x 3.5 pneumatic tires provide smooth transport on snowy or icy surfaces. An enclosed gearbox protects the gears from the corrosive rock salt or ice melt. Depending on the material being spread and speed of application, push spreader can cover 14,000 Sq. Ft. or roughly a acre on one fill. A hopper cover, deflector and grate are included to keep the material dry and to narrow the spreading pattern to prevent unwanted material from being applied onto your lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The parts are all very solid so I have no question it will last a long time. Putting it together has been no fun. The instructions are hard to understand and we were definitely missing a few pieces of hardware. I cannot attest to how well it spreads ice melt since we got it in the summer and wont needto spread ice melt for a few more months.

I'm not completely sure about its accuracy and versatility yet since I haven't been able to use it but I plan on using it for ice melt this winter! It feels pretty durable and the wheels make it easy to move around.
Can’t wait to use it this winter!

Came with all pieces and only 2 tools to put all together. It fits a lot salt to melt snow or seeds for your lawn. Nice and perfect size to put away without much work.

The directions aren’t overly clear, we were missing pieces, and the fabrication on a vital piece was incorrect. I’m definitely more advanced in terms of assembling items like this. For reference, my husband and I assembled an entire chicken coop in less time than it took to put this spreader together. Overall, it’s more substantially built and durable than many others we’ve utilized in the past which is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If there is an option for pre-assembled...pay for it!!!! This is not a 1 person job. I had to walk away 4 different days and modify 2 brackets. The directions are all photos (for english) all writing is other languages. After getting it put together, I tested it out. It's marketed as a salt spredder and a lawn seed spredder. The slot will not open small enough to just get seed to come out nicely. It's either shut or (see photo) this is #1 on the slide lever. I'm giving this a 3star because the quality of the product is great. I just think it needs to be 1 or the other.

All Agri-Fab units require some assembly. Please go back to the manual and check the calibration information. That will help in getting the flow plate adjusted to close and open.

It says that you are able to do it from one to 10 at different rates but the way it was cut you only can use about half of that. I do like that it’s mostly made up of plastic so there’s less of a chance of it getting rusty. The instructions on how to build it leaves much to be desired once we finally got it together, though it’s fairly simple to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Agri Fab ice met spreader does seem like it is very well made and durable. However, while the pieces are a nice quality, it is almost impossible to put together. I am hoping i will be able to enjoy this ice melt spreader once winter is here.

I wish the instructions came easier and didn’t have much of the little bulbs and stuff . But other than that it’s a great product. The color is great .

It maneuvers over the grass very well. I would highly recommend this product. It’s light weight and not very large.
