I have 3c/3b some 4a hair texture, so making sure my curls are not stripped of their moisture and pattern is my priority. So this isnt to harsh.

It is a 4 oz bottle and you just need 2 oz to mix in with hair dye to develop it. This is the must have ingredient that will make the color stick to your hair. It is a level 20 which is the right level for most jobs. I wish it came with the hair color in the box. I can see a lot of people who might be used to box dyes, may not be used to buying it separately. It does work well and because you buy it separately, it can give you a little more control on how much you use. This item is a necessity to pair with the permanent dye kit.
