Best hair dye and colour ever!!!
Very surprised at the negative reviews. My favourite hair dye ever!! The shade is ‘ASH’ so it is a greyish blonde colour very cool toned as oppose to warm which is exactly what I was looking for completely toned down the yellow and everyone has complimented my hair thinking I just spent a fortune in the salon!! Bought another 6 of these!

Great if you like a mix of platinum & lavender 🤬
My hair is naturally curly and a dirty blond with a bit of greys popping in. Thought I'd try a new brand and liked that its ammonia free. But this product is THE WORST hair color I've ever tried! Followed the directions to a T (been coloring my own hair for decades). The roots and 1st 3-4" of my hair is LAVENDER tinged and the rest of the color is way too light, not even close to what was pictured on the box. Had to ball-cap it all day yesterday running errands...what a MESS.

I was hesitant to try because my hair was porous and dry. There's possibility hair is blotchy or comes darker since I need protein in my ends. This product worked perfect. I placed on roots first so it would darken, then less time on my fried ends and voila'! It made my ends healthier and shiny and the color even. Its a very exotic shade and it does show different even in a dark shade. I highly suggest to prevent mess up ake sure and do roots first if your har is daaged, because the color will take fast in the weaker and porous hair. But its my upgrade favorite brand from Colorsilk. LUX!

Not great...
I have dyed my own hair for many many years, thought this colour looked great so gave it a go, First, having a primer makes no difference except to dirty the gloves making actual colour application harder, second, more irritation that I usually experience on the scalp, 3rd and most imimportant, very little purple colour. hair looks pretty brown... overall wont be buying again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging lovley product instructions clear and easy to use fast to set and get ready product felt very harsh chemical smell burnt the ends of my hair and left unmanagable for muself made my face itchy i am unsure if this is just me but be careful

Different color than pictured
I have dark brown hair and wanted to try something lighter, however, this left my hair looking black. I was so shocked and upset because this is the fist time I have ever dyed my hair. It also left it super dry! The company needs to figure out the coloring because the results are drastically different than the box shows.

Way darker than on the picture!
I had golden light brown hair and wanted a go a shade darker. My hair after coloring this this color turned black. And when i say black,I mean black. I almost cried.

Terrible color
New to home dyes. I have dark blonde to light brown hair with a lot of natural highlights and some grey around my face. I did the strand test from 2 different areas and worked perfectly. Now I have medium brown hair that is very orange.

the s by far the best at home colour I have ever used (been using every 6 weeks or so). Pros: non-drip, easy application, colour that lasts and is beautiful and shiny, doesn't dry out hair, grey coverage that lasts, no ammonia, no smell, and gloves that fit Australian women's large hands!! Absolutely highly recomed and thank you Clairol - love it

Total Disaster
I have been coloring my hair for many years without any problems whatsoever. I decided to try Color StrongI even though it's a bit more expensive. I chose the color Big Sur. I was really excited to try it. I applied it like I ordinarily do using all of the instructions and the materials within and then I washed it out and dried my hair. To my dismay over the course of the next few days, I started to watch my hair break off. My hair grows really slowly, so it took me months to finally get it past my shoulders,. I was shocked to helplessly watch my hair break off. 2 weeks later, my hair is now at least 2 inches shorter.and it looks dry, ratty and beat up. In all my years coloring my hair, I have never experienced anything like this. I do not suggest people use this product if they have super fine hair based off my very depressing experience.
