First time using Clairol ColorStrong (Hawaii) and pleasantly surprised! I was nervous it’d be too dark, but it toned down the leftover red/orange from a previous kit and covered grays beautifully. The color is deeper than I’m used to but still looks natural. Instructions were easy to follow, odor was minimal, and my hair feels soft—not overprocessed. I left it on roots for 18 mins, then tips for 5, since the tint was darker than I typically use. Limited options at the store, but this one worked out well!

I have purchased the color fiji sunset a few times. The first box I loved the color. However it did not last. I have done it several times. It does not offer lasting grey coverage. The worst part is its damaged my hair severely. Additionally, it would be great if they actually had a enough primer. There is not enough primer to cover all my hair- I don't need two boxes of dye.

Much darker than I was expecting , My hair looks black , I should have gone with the color before this one. Very strong smell, I do like the even coverage and the step 3 bond repair cream my hair feels healthy. However, for the price I would purchase another product for the same result.

Way too dark. Hair was light brown with blonde highlights and I wanted more of the brown on the box. Hair is literally almost black now and has not lightened after several washes.

Bought Malibu to use on my daughter’s medium blonde/ gray hair. Kind of confusing instructions. Read the whole thing thru before using. No bad, eye watering smell! That’s nice! Easy as 1,2,3 to use. Problem was what was light blonde around her face is now red! The rest of her hair is blondish red. And it didn’t cover all of her gray! Nowhere did color mention red or ash. She wasn’t happy at all! Not sure what to do now other than let it wear off. Don’t want to use darker color on her hair.

Way darker than the darkest "before" color on the back. Hair went from a true golden brown to black. Covered grays, smells good, hair is shiny, extremely messy and stains more than any dye I've used.

I dyed my hair last night with this color. It actually gave me a very dark brownish black color instead. I was bummed. I did like the smell and how it gave my hair a natural shine. But was very disappointed in the color results.

The first time I didn't manage to cover all the grey hair, but I didn't give up.. After a few weeks I tried again- colour 5.3. It came out really beautiful colour and I would like to have it forever.. Unfortunately, 3 weeks have passed and the dye is visibly washing out.. The hair is losing its colour, it is becoming faded. I can't imagine that the colour stays on the hair for 8 weeks.

Not what I expected! I should have known better than to stray from my usual color that I love! Followed all of the directions properly and ended up with hair that looks like my high school hair from the 90’s after a few rounds of sun in- beyond disappointed! I used the rose color similar to the L’Oréal shade I have used for years! Won’t ever but again!
