HOW TO:
(Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair)
1. wet your hair thoroughly in the shower.
2. mix bottle 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over.
3. wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.

I think the gloss part of this is great but to say that it's not a hair dye is outlandish. I had a true chocolate color and highlights and now my hair is dark brown and now doesn't match my extensions, I'm going to have to damage my hair more to lighten it back because the color is not coming out. if I buy this again, I absolutely will only get the clear color. If you're not ready to be a dark brown girly don't get this. I have gotten compliments on the way that my hair looks and the color but it's not the color that I wanted. Your hair will be dark dark brown. Not chocolate brown.. maybe dark chocolate. The photo on the back of the box is super misleading and I truthfully don't believe they used the chocolate Cosmo on her hair because how did it get lighter/brighter? They used a different gloss on the model.. but the gloss part works for sure.

I have used the Chocolate Cosmo in the past and have been irritated with how dark it leaves my medium brown hair. I find that if I actually apply it in the shower to wet hair like the directions say, and then only leave it on 5 or 6 minutes it deepens the color without making it TOO dark. And it still lets the slightly red and gold hi lights naturally in my hair shine through. But applying in the shower is annoying, and hard to know if you’re really doing an even application. I just wish this line would come out with some medium brown colors so the people who don’t want SUPER dark hair can use without having to worry their hair will turn black.

Soild color
This product was surprisingly very easy to use and suited me well. I was worried because I never liked warm highlights but it’s a nice warm tone in this. Warning this will cover highlights. I tried the ombré application like I successfully did with the Smoky color however this one did not blend good. I did a second application immediately after and love the results and would still say the bottom of my hair is lighter. Photos from first day I did it and a week after. I wash my hair every day and product fades quicker.
