I always recommend that my clients come to get glossed and toned between salon visits to extend the life of their color. I’m finally able to give them, and you, something that is easy to use at home. This in-shower treatment is formulated to instantly boost vibrancy and shine, while neutralizing warmth on color treated or natural bronde (between dark blonde and light brown) hair. It will help you keep your color looking fresh, shiny and healthy between appointments.

Choose this color if you have dark blonde or light brown hair (aka: bronde) and want to neutralize or tone down warmth.

HOW TO:
(Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair)
1. wet your hair thoroughly in the shower.
2. mix bottle 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over.
3. wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.
4. shampoo and condition as usual.

There is always a possibility of a chemical reaction when you lay gloss or hair color over hair that has been previously colored with henna. You could try our Toning line The One Purple Shampoo and Conditioner, it's sulfate free and can be used to help neutralize warmth and brassiness in natural and color treated hair. Hope this helps!

    Smokey Topaz is very RED. I thought it would be a neutral ash color given the Smokey name. It’s very, very red. It’s been about 6 months since I used it and it’s still in my hair. It’s horrid. I am trying to just grow it out but it’s an awful slow process.

    Does not help with orange/brassiness

    Helps with shine but that’s about it. My hair pulls orange shortly after I get it done at the salon. Figured this would at the very least tone it down, but it does not. (Medium blond hair) I was probably better off doing the darker one and having it gloss over the orange to make it darker, but I wanted light brown. If anything it made my hair more orange haha

    So far so good

    I used the Smoky Topaz for 13 min to help refresh my hair. I have highights and have been dying by greys at home, but the high/low leves were getting too harsh. Overall I like the results. It definately picks up a almost deep purple/pink hue (I noticed this in some of the pics online), but I dont think most people really notice that. I'll see how it fades and go from there.
