The nonstick coating on the insert bubbled up and is flaking off and contaminating my food. I’m unable to find a replacement. So this very expensive slow cooker is now useless. All Clad will not warrantee the nonstick finish on the insert.

The all ceramic slow cooker insert finally failed us. UNFORTUNATELY, All-Clad no longer makes the insert. Rather the company offered to sell us a "cast aluminum" with a ceramic coating replacement. No bueno :( Thermal mass is critical in slow cooking.

This slow cooker is easy on the eyes, and easy to operate. I've had the 4 quart version for over 10 years now, and never had the issues that others seemed to have had; not a bubble, not a scratch. I've only used silicone tools, and hand-washed it. Still looks brand new inside and out. Wanted the larger version for entertaining. If you take care of it, it will take care of you! Love this thing!

The cooker is great, but the teflon coating is terrible. It is peeling off the aluminum pot. A replacement pot is almost the cost of a new cooker. Thank goodness for disposable liners.

Like everyone else- peeling and bubbling - we have had our All-Clad slow cooker for about five years and there has been a small flaw in the insert from last year but when i took it out of the box to use for Thanksgiving this year the bottom of the insert had several places of bubbling. Totally unacceptable for a high-end appliance. We were hoping to replace our teflon cookware with quality AC stainless steel, but i'm seeing the AC quality in action here so we'll have to look elsewhere for cookware.

Bought this in 2018 and I’m moving and forgot I had it. I plan on just throwing away versus giving it away. The three times I’ve used it its gives the food a weird chemical taste. I use my CrockPot brand one way more. Also the buttons started to stick after the first use. Huge waste of money.

I have now used my slow cooker over 15 times during 6 months. I have used it for brisket, pork shoulder, roast spaghetti sauce, chili etc. I have not pout the inside of my pot on my oven top and cooked that way because I have an induction top. I love this slow cooker. No problems at all, just perfectly cooked meat. It is a beautiful piece of cookware too.

The lid does not have a little hole it in as the previous version, causing a lot of steam built up in the slow cooker. Maybe that is a good thing. The handles on the insert are not protected so they get very hot and unusable once it is on. Otherwise it is easy to use and and durable.
