Wrong sizing
I bought one king and three queens for all the beds in my home. The King was queen sized. I assume the queens were for full size beds as they were far too small for a queen. I kept the king for one of the queens, but had to return the others. Were they packaged incorrectly or are they just really, really bad at sizing? My mattresses are not unusually deep, and these wouldn't even stretch to the top edges of the mattresses of the size the pads were supposed to be. It is too bad because the quality of the mattress pads themselves seems very nice, but I can't order again because I can't tell whether this is just how bad the sizing is or if they were actually labelled incorrectly.

Too small for my bed
I like that this is all cotton. Not too puffy. After washing, it does not cover the top of the mattress fully. It's too short by about 3" inches both directions,. So when I tried to put it on, the bottom elasticized hem ripped and there is a 3" gap. Also, the side of the pad barely covers a 12" mattress. If this fit properly it would be a 5 star. Alas, careless manufacuring.

Way too short!
I ordered two Twin XL mattress pads and they are both 5-6 inches too short. I had already washed them, so I pulled and pulled to make them fit, but was afraid they would rip. Other reviews said the same, I should have read them before purchasing. Disappointing.

Musty smell
After the package was delivered, I was disappointed that there was a very strong musty smell to the box AND in the mattress pad itself (like a dank, musty basement). The mattress pad was in the sturdy plastic bag with a zipper, but the zipper was partially opened - thus the pad was absorbing the musty smell. I immediately washed the mattress cover in a hot washing cycle with a long soaking cycle using Persil and Borax. After the dryer (it took a long time to dry since the cotton is so thick - a good thing, I guess), it still had a faint musty smell. I'm airing it out and hoping that it'll be smell-free by the time I move my college student into her dorm in a few weeks. I hope this fits the XL twin mattress.

Cotton Mattress Pad
I won't use a personal product until i run it through a laundry cycle, so that I know the article is clean and has held up through washing and drying. This cover is heavy, but not bulky. The top is cotton with a 1% olefin filling and the sides are a very stretchy spandex. I was a bit afraid that it would not fit my bed because of some of the reviews I read; but this pad with adjusting, fit perfectly from top to bottom and side to side with lots of depth. I bought this pad for one reason... "Cooling" as described in title. I gave the product 4 stars because I did not find it to be anymore cooling than my inexpensive polyester/cotton cover. I do like that it is cotton, fits perfectly and is thick enough for extra comfort. Shipping and packaging were fine. No problem at all.

Defective? Sized WAY too small
I ordered the pad for a queen sized bed. When I received this I took it out of the packaging and could tell it was too small. I tried it on the bed and could not even pull it halfway up. It fits ok width wise, but not length, like it was made for a square bed. Not sure if this is a one time defect but I'm not going to try again. Cotton felt nice and thick, but useless if you can't even get close to fitting it on the bed.

Not long enough
I bought this "extra long" twim mattress pad for my son's bed hoping to get a breathable pad for year round comfort and I waited until I thought he'd be coming home to use the bed before trying it out on the mattress. The elastic sides didn't give and shredded when I pulled to stretch it to the mattress length. I am just within the 90 day return policy and am hoping for a full refund. The top looks good, but what good is that when it doesn't fit the mattress!

Shrinks terribly
I washed this once before using, on gently cycle in cold water. I even air driedmit. This King protector shrunk so bad it doesn't even fit my Queen bed. Don’t waste your money.

Nice materials, way too small
The quality seems ok, I like that it’s almost completely cotton. However the protector itself is too small to fit on my regular full sized mattress- the product description said the protector should fit mattresses up to 16in deep. It definitely does not.

Different Expectations…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I chose this item I expected a product that would add some extra cushion to my already very comfortable bed, but this did not. When I hear “mattress pad” I think of cushion and comfort, but this item is very thin. We already have a mattress protector on our bed and this item is the same thickness as that. Without the added cushion that I was expecting, I’m not sure what purpose this item provides. Maybe I’m getting a mattress pad and a mattress topper confused as the same thing? Either way, we’ll be keeping this item on our mattress as an extra layer of protection.

Durable, soft mattress pad

I didn’t feel the cooking sensation and haven’t tested the moisture thing but overall it feels like sleeping on my regular mattress. I like that it protects my mattress and it fits good on it but I didn’t see a difference with it on.

Top good, bottom not so much
While the basic pad portion is lovely and I expect it to wear well due to the fabric type, I'm not sure about the jersey type skirting that stretches to tuck under the mattress. It appears to have been hemmed without stretching, making it impossible to pull the sides and corners without ripping the hem stitching.
