[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free sample of this Almay Thickening & Tint Mascara from Influenster and Almay in exchange for my honest review. I thought this worked well as a tint to have a natural look on the eyelashes. My eyelashes are very light blond and this did darken them without adding a thick coating of product as for the thickening claim, I'm not sure if it thickened the lashes too much, but If got apply several coats it begins to thicken up. I like the hypoallergenic aspect of Almay and feel this is a gentle product that caused no eye irritation which is always nice.

I was a big fan of the old formula of Almay's thickening mascara. This new formula is not as good. I have trouble with clumping and the tube of mascara dried up quickly. I also haven't noticed any tinting of my lashes. I never had any sensitivity issues with the old formula, but my eyes itch and tear up from using this new formula. I cannot recommend this mascara due to these issues.

I thought I was buying the Almay mascara - Almay Thickening - I have used for years, as the color of the case is the same. This is NOT the same! I thought I had maybe gotten an old, dried up tube when I first used it, because it was so thick and gummy. Then I read some reviews and realized it's the mascara, not its age. It does not lengthen my lashes and seems to wear off during the course of the day. I always appreciated that Almay mascara did not have 'fibers' to fall off and get under my RGP contact lenses. This mascara does not have those yet does seem to flake off. Please fix this or return to the previous formula.

This is my new favorite mascara. It doesn't clump and separates my lashes well. I did notice build-up developing around the rim of the opening but I just wipe it clean and it doesn't impact the product instead of the tube.

Stays and looks nice all day, it's easy to remove, and it makes my lashes fuller, and thicker. It's not my normal mascara, but i will be switching to this, great product!!
