You can link your Ring account to the Alexa app and use your voice to activate and deactivate your Ring Alarm. If you have Ring cameras you can view them on the Echo Show. Q: Can I download apps from Google play store on it
A: Hi Abc! The Echo Show 5 does not feature the ability to download apps, but is compatible with a wide variety of Alexa skills. If you're looking for an Echo Show that can download streaming apps, consider checking out the Echo Show 15 which features a built-in Fire TV mode that you can use to download your favorite streaming services from the Amazon App Store! While there's no direct way to link your Google Photos account to the Echo Show 5, you can easily upload photos to the device from your cell phone. Once you've got your device set up, open the Alexa app on your phone or tablet. From there, go to Devices and select the Echo Show 5. Once it loads up, you'll see the option for Photo Display along with "Manually select my photos." This will let you choose which photos from your phone to display on the Echo Show 5! You can also back these up with Amazon Photos, which provides a free 5 GB of storage. I hope that helps, have a great day!

Q: Why does the bass start to fade as the volume gets louder? I’ve noticed that as the device gets louder there’s less bass and a lot more treble.

Q: Hello, Once you buy the product do you need a subscription?
A: You just need a free Amazon account. You can upload your photos from your phone or other device without an account.. if you want to play music, you can use Spotify’s free version or another service. You don’t necessarily have to use Amazon music.

If you are looking for a portable Alexa enabled device to listen to music on, consider the Fire HD 8 tablet.
