Just snagged these Airpods to replace my Airpods pro 2. The left earbud on my pros was going out. So I decided to try these. The sound on the air pods 4 is excellent! The noise cancellation is not quite as good as the airpod pros, but better than not having it all, like on the prior airpod generations. However, i do like how these fit much better than the airpod pros. Those always seemed to make ear itch. Thus, i really enjoy these new airpods 4. Well worth the extra coin!

Pros: - sound is pretty good - Spatial Audio is cool Cons: - larger bud and doesn't sit in ear very well - cannot advance song with a "double tap", now need a "double pinch" on stem, not ideal when hands are busy or dirty - buds are situated in a way in the charging case where they don't pull out as easily as previous 2nd gen does Overall, I'm returning this item and ordering a pair or second generation; they nailed the "wireless headphones" idea in that iteration

I have 3rd generation airpod and it will take me 7-8 hours before the battery will run out. The 4th gen. I only used it for 4-5 hours the battery will run out already. I wish I could return this.

I recently bought a pair that lasted for about 18 hours before it started glitching. I read the reviews and saw it was common with these so I returned the 4s and went with the Gen 3. However, the difference in improvements between the two was too noticeable so I rebought the Gen 4s and I’m glad I did! The fit, sleekness and noise cancellation are top tier. No issues with this pair.
