Q: I have a new 14 pro max. My Apple Air Pods are from two years ago. My lavelier mic is generic (for recording webinars). Do I need this for either? What I have works w/ my old SE 2016. Thx.
A: Hi Waystation 49, thanks for reaching out about Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter. The iPhone 14 Pro Max does not have a headset port, so to use a Mic or 3.5m headset this is the correct adapter to use for your phone. This is only to use wired mics or headsets. Q: iPad Pro 11” is not on the list of compatible devices; is that correct? Will this work with my daughter’s 11” iPad pro?
A: Hi, Nope! Regarding your question about the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter: That is correct, the iPad Pro 11" models don't use Lightning connectors like iPhone models do, they use USB-C instead. For that you would need a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
