¹As of September 9, 2024, the Sleep Apnea Notification Feature is currently under FDA review and expected to be cleared this month, with availability on Apple Watch Series 9 and later and Apple Watch Ultra 2 this month. The feature is intended to detect signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea for people 18 years old or older without a diagnosis of sleep apnea.

Q: how acqurate is the watch in diagnosing afib
A: It diagnosed my afib. I figured my cardiologist would think I was crazy, but a heart monitor confirmed it was correct.
submitted byBevS - 1 month agoA: I let a friend put mine on after she had been formally diagnosed with Afib. It immediately and correctly confirmed it after the watch test. I'd say it's pretty accurate.
submitted byKen - 18 days agoA: I assume it has only gotten better. I have the Series 7 and about two years ago it set off an AFIB warning. I also had some symptoms. I went to the ED and AFIB was confirmed.

Q: Can it connect with my hearing aid?
A: My series 7 Apple watch connects to my Unitron hearing aids, so I would expect this updated version to work in this situation.

Q: Does the Apple Watch bands of the other generations fit on this Apple Watch?
A: Yes. For the 42mm watch, 40 and 41 mm bands work too. For the 46mm watch, 44 and 45mm bands work too. Older 42mm bands(pre-Series 10) will only work with the 46mm watch.

Q: Does the model number on the units sold by Target in the USA end in LW/A indicating that these units will not measure blood oxygen per the patent infringement case with medical device company Masimo?
A: No, these do not support Blood Oxygen monitoring. No Apple Watch Series 10 will support it in the US due to the ban. The last watch to have models in the US that weren't LW/A were the Series 9.
