The Aries floor lamp provides efficient ambient lighting for an entire room in a slim design. Simplicity shines in this look with a matte black finish and a tapered frosted plastic shade. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. The three-way switch adjusts the light from low setting, high setting to off position. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL's)

Nice lamp wish it was a bit brighter

Don’t buy
Agree with the reviewer that said the pieces do not fit exactly, it’s bobble-head like and flimsy. I
Unfortunately I couldn’t return for some reason. But also a week ago, the on/off/dimmer knob broke off.

Bobble head lamp-disappointed
I bought the lamp to brighten my basement home office. The head of the lamp does not screw into the body and is flimsy and bobble head like. I will be returning.
