Directions Use up to 21 days unless directed by your doctor Not for strains, sprains, bruises or sports injuries. This product has not been shown to work for these types of injuries. I liked the smell- a hint of alcohol- not like others with strong menthol scents. I used this on my knee while while I was Waiting for my surgery to be scheduled and it helped. I also use it on my neck/shoulders after sitting at a computer all day at work .

My doctor wanted to prescribe this for me years ago because I couldn't handle side effects from the Diclofenac oral, but he said it was cost prohibitive. So glad you can now buy this for a reasonable price OTC. Works like nothing else on joint pain. Target brand has a scent I don't like but it goes away quickly.

Maybe the product is good but it's heavily scented and triggers my asthma. It is unfortunate because it's not indicated that it contains so much perfume or any fragrance. I assumed a medical use product would be fragrance free unless it was an essential oil based product. I can't use it. It just makes me sneeze and cough and irritates my nose.

My hands and feet ache daily because I have arthritis in my joints and sadly, the swelling and stiffness gets worse as the day goes on and I am not able to take care of my home and family like I need to with the decreased range of motion. I recently tried Up & Up Arthritis Pain Reliever with Diclofenac Sodium and while it is easy to use, absorbs well and leaves no stickiness or residue, I did not find it very effective for relieving my arthritis pain and swelling.

I liked everything about it. First of all this generic works as well as the brand name (Voltaren) and costs less. My knee was inflamed. I applied it as directed. The swelling and pain in my knee was much better by the next morning. This will be a staple in my medicine cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked so well, we went out on a trip and I grabbed this. I didn't mind the smell and it was easy to apply and rub in. I didn't have any problems washing it off. I do recommend using gloves to apply the product though.
