Badddd razor burn
I bought this razor about a year ago and it was great. They must have changed something bc lately I’ve noticed lots of irritation even with a brand new razor head. Tonight I had razor burn so bad I almost cried. Still burns even after applying lotion. Such a disappointment.

Immediate rusting
Razors rust after 1 use no matter what I do. I dry them, store them, & clean them according to Athena Club’s website but they continue to rust. I’ve bought these multiple times hoping the next pack would be different but each time has proven to be a huge waste of money.

Older ones are really dull and painful
I’m so conflicted about these. At first, they work very well. I used the blade that came with the razor as well as 2 blades from the refill pack and they were almost perfect. I guess I left the remaining 2 blades too long before using them and they were both very dull. I thought the first bad one was a fluke and opened the other and it was exactly the same. When I say dull, I mean more dull than the blades they were replacing. Talk about razor burn. So then I used a shave oil in addition to the cream I usually use and that helped but not enough. I can’t handle this razor burn. Since I know the blades are hit or miss how can I justify buying any more refills? For reference, I purchased the refill pack in March 2025 and by late August the same year they don’t work.

The razors are only lasting 2 to 3 shaves the new packaging it also ruining the shave gel stuff that's built in to the razor im thinking of buying something else
