Not since New Coke have I seen such a disastrous change. I loved the original bars and they totally were part of my diet but the newly formulated bars are just not edible. You lost me as a customer…

I don't know if I tried these before the "new improved recipe" and can't say if I previously liked or disliked them, but as of now, they are absolutely delicious! If they were always this good, why in the world had I not been buying them this whole time?!

Disappointed with new formula
This has been my go-to since I have to limit the number of carbs that I have but make sure I have enough protein. The new bar is really not good at all. I found it very dry and gritty. I won't buy them again.

Shrinkflation!
I was already feeling cheated when the 5 bar box didn't have 6 bars, and now they have gone down to 4 bars a box! And with so many saying the formula has been changed, and they don't taste good anymore, I've decided to stop buying them.

My new go-to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried all the flavors of these high protein bars and they’re honestly all so good. Not your typical chalky, chemical tasting stuff. Just a good tasting bar that has a good amount of protein and is easy to reach for when you’re short on time or need a little snack! I take these bars with me on the road, to my kids’ sports events and always keep them on hand at home. Makes for a great post workout snack, too!

The recipe for chocolate chip granola bars has changed and now the taste is awful! I ate these daily for years. Hoping they listen to their consumers and bring back the original bars. Until then, I will be looking for a new bar. 😞

I find myself driving from store to store to find the old ones. The new ones with improved taste????? Not so much. Seem to me they cheapened it up by changing the formula giving us 1 less per box and charging the same. These are not improved, in fact they suck. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Go back to the original. I guess I'll be finding another brand.

Not an Improvement!
They took a perfectly good product, changed the formula and almost ruined it. I have been a big fan of these bars for many years but this latest iteration just isn't that good. They are hard as a rock, the texture is wrong and the taste has gone downhill. Please bring back the old formula.

I have been a big fan of and really enjoyed the Chocolate Chip Granola Bars. I just tried to eat a new one and was unaware of the recipe change until I took one bite. These new ones are awful and inedible to me. I sadly will never be purchasing these again. Did anyone at Atkins actually eat one of these before they went to market ? Not good
I just bought the new, “improved taste” bars, and respectfully disagree. For one thing, I believe it is a victim of shrinkflation. Smaller bar, same price. Secondly, it just does not taste good. This was my go to snack because I liked the taste and consistency, but that has all changed. I will not be buying these again. New and improved is not always the case.

I used to eat these all the time because they tasted like delicious granola bars. The recipe must have changed with the packaging because it now tastes like plastic garbage just like the rest of healthy foods. Very disappointed.
