Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother, Frizz-Control & Smoothing Hair Treatment, 0.85 oz

What have you done?? I redeemed some of my loyalty points for this because I loved the testers I had before, and it's completely different. It makes my hair unbearably heavy, sticky, and almost impossible to wash out. Really disappointed. A complete waste of my points.

I used to buy the previous formulation of this product and it was my holy grail. I've tried so many hair oils and nothing compared to it. I searched for it to find that the packaging and formulation had changed, but was hoping it was still just as good as its predecessor. Unfortunately it comes up very short. PLEASE bring back the old formulation. From the many comments I've read on here and other forums, many people agree it hasn't changed for the better. I will not be buying again.

I have frizzy hair and I have used for years the old formula,which was amazing, hair looked smooth and light. I bought the new ''improved'' version and it is not the same, it won't keep your hair smooth, feels heavy and sticky and I need to wash my hair to get rid of it. You need to REVERT to the old formula!

My hairdresser put this onto my hair. It smoothed down my hair instantly. I have porous thick hair. I found that with the combined shampoo, my hair is actually manageable. No frizz. I feel it is a good product for thick hair that needs calming down.

Noticing that the product that I had faithfully used for 15 years was now leaving my hair frizzy and flyaway, I thought I would read what others thought....it seems that many are experiencing the same thing. Aveda, why have you changed the formulation of so many of your products? All the Smooth Infusion line has changed and not for the better. It simply doesn't do the job any more. Its a shame because I have loved supporting this brand over the years but your products don't work as they should anymore.

I've been using what I think is the predecessor to this product for years and it's been brilliant on my fine frizzy hair - added bonus it doesn't leave my hands needing a rinse after using it. Looking at these reviews, am thinking I'll look elsewhere if this is a new formulation of it. Such a shame, it was so brilliant.

Aveda, what have you done to Smooth Infusions? I have used this excellent product for years to smooth and de-frizz my wavy hair. When I finally ran out recently I bought the re-branded version, only to find that as well as the packaging the formula has also changed and not for the better. The revamped product made my hair heavy and limp. It has also lost its former pleasant smell. I won't be buying it again - unless you revert to the previous formula. Please! I see from the reviews that others are also disappointed.

I bought this after being assured it was the same as the colourless Smoothing Fluid it replaced. It isn't - it simply doesn't work for me. The Smoothing Fluid was the only thing I'd found that kept my fine, wavy hair from exploding into frizz whenever there was a hint of damp in the air, and I loved it. I'd used it for years. I bitterly regret not buying 5 bottles of Smoothing Fluid and hoarding it - but I didn't know it was going to be withdrawn. Aveda - PLEASE briong it back. The style-prep smoother just isn't the same.

What's happened to the Style Prep Smoother? It used to be brilliant - the only product I'd found that could stop my hair being frizzy and I've been using it for years. Now it doesn't seem to smooth my hair much at all. So disappointing. I've noticed it says "new advanced formula" but I don't think it's an improvement.

The formula has changed. It used to be more translucent and worked far better. I have used this product for more than 22 years. So disappointing. The new formula does not work as well and requires additional product after styling to get the same results. Please bring back the original formula. Please please please!
