Nice thick watery formula.
This tube is only 5 Oz, but it will last you a long time. It doesn't have a super strong smell I would say, but it almost smells a little floral? But very faintly. I have had no issues with it spilling, though I will say the lid doesn't like to shut very tightly, even though it still closes and protects the product inside from drying out. The consistency is a watery formula yet also decently thick. I think it works wonders at keeping your skin from drying out, however I would say that if you have an overly sensitive skin barrier, it can sting quite a bit.

I bought the Aveeno daily moisturizer for dry skin on the recommendation from my dermatologist after I had a procedure done. I found it to be a weird consistency when rubbed in and not hydrating at all. I ended up buying Avene instead. I wouldn’t recommend.

Carbomer, a Microplastic, Causes Flaking/Pilling
Caused flaking on my face so I won't use this anymore. It might be the carbomer causing the product to pill. Flaking aside, this didn't work nearly as well as the aveeno daily moisturizing body lotion to moisturize my face. giving it 2 stars though because it didn't cause redness, irritation or burning like half the face moisturizers out there. will stick with body lotion i guess

I'm so disappointed they changed the formula!!! The old formula worked so well. Why change it???? Unfortunately I will be trying other brands because I don't want to deal with Aveeno changing perfectly good formula for no good reason! It's such a shame. 😞

I’m really upset about the new product. Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion for DRY SKIN was all I could use. It was perfect. Now that it’s for normal-dry skin and more lightweight, my skin is FLAKING. It’s not enough anymore and now I have to buy more products from other brands to supplement it. Shouldn’t have changed this product up, Aveeno!

Bring back the old formula!
Ugh the new formula is absolutely horrible! It makes me break out and doesn’t work even half as good as the old one. Reading all the reviews online my best bet is to find another brand which is sad because the old face cream was amazing!
