It's not heavy - more gel like and somewhat cooling when you put it on. I highly recommend trying this moisturizer, especially people with sensitive skin. Also recommend the cleanser.

I LOVE this moisturizer. I’m an oily girl with acne prone sensitive skin and also deal with rosacea. This stuff doesn’t make my face feel oily at all, and I don’t break out from this at all and it doesn’t flare up rosacea.

I’ve tried many moisturizers and even ones specified for rosacea and to decrease redness and then I look at the ingredients and there is some type of alcohol. With how red and sensitive my face is, I’ve had to buy and test so many moisturizers but NO MORE. This baby is it. It’s legit. Redness relieved, sensitivity who? My skin feels moisturized in my dry desert climate. It’s so smooth and silky and I know what I’m putting on my face is natural.

I’ve used this product off and on. It’s a good reliable moisturizer that does really good hydrating the texture makes it very soft and the scent of the oat is good. I honestly do feel though there is better moisturizer on the market, but this one is a good friendly drugstore one

This product is a miracle worker. I had been dealing with unspecificed flaky, itchy redness (possible eczema?) around my nose and mouth for months with no improvement from a variety of OTC topicals. My next thing to try was colloidal oatmeal, which is the main active in this product. Within literally 24 hours the redness had decreased and after 2 weeks of twice daily usage my skin was back to normal and hasn't flared again since. I use it once daily now in that area, as well as on other more sensitive areas of my face and my skin truly feels calm and restored like the title of the product says! It is soothing, hydrating, and feels like a high quality product. I am so glad I tried this because it saved me from a trip to a dermatologist.

I tried many different face creams, from all I got oily skin with acne till I bought the Aveeno calm +restore moisturiser gel which changed everything. I love this moisturiser. After using it I feel my skin is silky smooth and hydrated. The texture is very light weight and smells lovely. Only I can recommend.

Not sure what happened- got a bad batch or a formula change but my whole hairline ( top to bottom all around my head ) broke out in a horrible red bumpy rash. The rash then also started to spread to my forehead & cheeks. I was not sure if this caused it but as soon as I switched moisturizer my face started to heal - literally the next day. I have stuck with the recommended La Roche Posay & have not had any issues since. I have very sensitive skin, do not use any makeup & always have to be carful with all face products. I used to love Aveeno but something has changed. I will no longer use any Aveeno face products. I do still adore the body wash.

I enjoy using this in the morning. It dries up pretty matte and actually makes my sunscreen and makeup look really nice, blurring out imperfections a bit. My partner also used it and they hate greasy lotions. Has a gentle cooling feel when you apply it (not minty just fresh). It was fine as a night time moisturizer but my skin was particularly dry so I alternated it with heavier creams. Was gentle on my skin with no irritation.
