My son was given this set when he was born. This was 9 years ago. I wanted to purchase it for my Niece who was just born. The set is still the same high quality my sons drum set is still working he broke the top off a little but come on it’s 9 years old and he has used it like there’s no tomorrow. He also used the drum as a stool. This set is beautiful and little ones continue to use it for years. My son still has his and still plays with it. I have added a picture of my son’s old set along with the one I recently purchased.

Very unsafe! I cut myself on a protruding piece of thorn shaped plastic embedded in the drum. It was as sharp as a needle! Its a manufacturers defect. Fortunately I spotted it before giving it to my toddler who could’ve gotten very hurt by it. When I realized how cheaply made the toy was, I inspected the rest of the instruments more closely and found similar hanging bits of plastic all over the handles of the instruments and the antennae on the instruments are made of a soft plastic and shaped in such a way that they could easily be chewed off.. a choking hazard!! I’m so disappointed because this was a birthday present for my son. I’m staying away from this brand in future.
