My four year old girl likes the ability to make music and dance to it. However the microphone cord is too short.

Microphone broke within 48 hours which was the main appeal to my toddler

Seems cute, but the microphone hasn’t worked on either of the 2 I received. It makes a static noise but I can’t hear the actual voice. The microphone seems like the main appeal for toddlers so I’m surprised it doesn’t work. It’s also pretty small and seems like a toy for younger kids, I’m surprised it suggested 3+ as the age range for it.

Although I would prefer toys not to be super loud, this one seems to be missing the mark. The volume goes from silent to barely audible. The house needs to be dead silent to hear anything. Overall a cute concept and my toddler likes to press the buttons and sing. The record function is great but the playback is muffled.

If I can't avoid them, they tend to also "mysteriously" go missing soon after they are gifted to us. However, the DJ Mixer Toy is actually here to stay. They put in a brilliant feature - volume control! The toy can be very loud when it's fine for them to have some all in fun, and then it can be very quiet when it's time for my five month old to sleep. My five year old son and three year old daughter both love to play with this one, and there are enough buttons and things to do with it that they can actually both play with it at the same time. My five month old is even starting to take an interest in it with the fun sounds and flashing lights. The battery has held up and hasn't needed replacing even with constant daily use for the last month, and everything still works even with the three year old's less than careful handling. The DJ Mixer Toy is excellent, and I'm really happy Influenster sent us one to try. I wish more sound making toys had the volume feature that they so thoughtfully put into this one!

The mic works like a real one and sound quality is clear and not too loud which is great for babies. The quality is strong and well build so it seems like it’s gonna go a long way.

The mixer is so much fun and has a ton of great features. The built-in sounds and effects are amazing and my son loves experimenting with different combinations. The turntables are easy to use and the included vinyl records are a great touch. I also appreciate that it's battery-powered, making it easy to take on-the-go. My only minor complaint is that the volume could be a bit louder, and the microphone's volume is very low as well, you have to srick your mouth to it . But overall, this toy is a fantastic introduction to DJing for kids. Highly recommend

They have short attention spans but love music, so I was surprised by how long they were entranced by it. It seems well made and fits in their lap easily. I will say that the microphone doesn’t seem to work on ours, so that’s a bit of a bummer, but maybe it’s not supposed to work? Regardless, it seems like it will entertain my girls for some time. I love the colors and the design. I’d buy this as a gift for other kiddos.
