A: Great question, the mat is approximately 3/16” thick.

A: The holder does NOT hold the piano in place. A 7 week old baby can kick it over or out of reach in no time. The screws easily loosen on their own. Piano slides around on slick mat.

I like how large the may it's so if my baby moves around as she's kicking she had plenty of room. Everything is well made, vibrant colors and easy to put together! The Velcro that hold the two pieces above the mat was put on the wing side so we had to twist one piece but other than that this is great!

It’s good for tummy time and also if my son wants to lay down and play. The pillow is good for his head and the I like that the mat is washable. It comes with 6 sensory toys that can be hung on the rings or stay off and can play with them anywhere. The piano is awesome, it plays so many sounds, phrases, and lights up. My son loves this play gym. It keeps him entertained. He’s always kicking his feet to play it or pushing it with his hands. It makes him smile, giggle, and have so much fun.

The piano is awesome...when laying down my baby can use his feet to make sounds and music and as he gets older he will be able to sit in front of it and play it with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is such a great gym with a cute farm theme and bright, eye-cathing colors. I also love how versatile this gym is. It has 4 different modes that allow the gym to grow with my child. We used it as a tummy time mat and later as a seated activity center, so it worked well for both newborn and older infant stages. This gym keeps my little one entertained for a long time. The kick piano was a huge hit in our house. It has so many fun melodies and sounds. It can even play in different languages. I also like how reactive the piano keys are; a gentle touch is enough to activate them (which is an issue with some other toys). Piano can also be detached, which is great for an older child as a take-along toy. The gym comes with adorable farm-themed toys. My little one especially adores the crinkly book and mirror. I also like that it comes with a prop pillow; it was super useful for tummy time. I highly recommend this barnyard gym as it’s a great investment for parents looking to support their baby’s growth and curiosity.

When our daughter was a newborn, she would lie on the mat and stare up at the different shapes and colors, it instantly grabbed her attention. As she grew, it was so fun to watch her start reaching for and grabbing the toys. By 6 months, she discovered that kicking her feet made sounds on the piano, and she loved it! The prop pillow was great for tummy time and the piano kept her entertained longer than anything else we’d tried. Now at 8 months, she’s sitting up and still playing with all the toys. The lights and sounds continue to keep her engaged, and it’s been great to have one mat that grows with her development. It’s super easy to take apart and clean.
