We used to love this sunscreen but we’ve used it twice this summer and have severely burned both times. It also doesn’t rub in and leaves a white chalky texture. Threw it away after having burned so badly a 2nd time. The sunscreen ingredients must have changed and is now defective.

This used to be my “go to” for the whole family as we all have sensitive skin. I bought a bottle this year and regret it- it has broken my skin out with a terrible rash. I’m just glad it was my face and not my children’s. This is so disappointing.

I have been purchasing Babyganics spray sunscreen for over 7 years. I have always loved it. It has always been easy to apply, easy to rub in and soaks into the skin, not leaving a greasy, chalky layer. And wiping hands with a baby after application took off the residue. That was until this last bottle I purchased. I noticed the new bottle shape, but didn’t think that the ingredients would have changed. So far, the sunscreen is difficult to spread, rub in and it leaves a white chalky film that needs to be vigorously scrubbed off in the shower. And even with that, my son still burned in places everyday he was at summer camp. I’m hoping it may just be a bad batch, but after reading a lot of the recent reviews, I am not the only one with problems with it.

Besides leaving near impossible to remove residue on the skin- I have gotten TWO really bad sunburns while using this product- like what is the point?! I’ve never had this issue with any other product (even applied more often than it instructs time wise) and it really sucks to put your faith in a product to protect you and have it fail so miserably. If you’re going to try this product I would try out cautiously- I would never put this on a child or myself again.

Just purchased a month ago and we all used it at the beach but used thinkbaby for our faces and we all burned. Not sure if it was expired but it did nothing. Use thinkbaby brand instead.

It works just fine as sunscreen, but it dries really quick after spraying and it feels like rubbing chalk into your hands and all over your body. I know it’s a mineral sunscreen, but this just feels so yucky and is hard to rub in.

Just bad. Doesn’t work, leaves a white cast (which I expect from a mineral sunscreen), and is very difficult to rub in. I usually use an SPF 15 or 30 but tested this out and after an hour and a half burned more where I used this product than where I did not. So very glad to have tried it on myself before I used this on my kids! I would strongly recommend parents choose another product for their little ones (and themselves).

Live in Hawaii, in sun year round. Best sunscreen I’ve ever found. Good clean ingredients, effective amount of minerals (without being too white). Perfect liquid consistency and love the easy spray bottle. The whole family uses this on body/face and can go all day with no burning. Will never go back to lotions or aerosol spray. Safe for the keiki, the coral, and endocrine system. Mahalo babyganics!

This stuff is trash. It works to protect the skin, but it’s takes literal scrubbing to get off the skin. Also leaves a dry matte finish when applied.

pros: easy to spray and has a nice consistency plus there's no scent. cons: pretty much everything else -___- some of the worst white cast i've ever seen and it leaves an unappealing, almost powdery/matte finish on the skin.
