To Be Determined. My first use resulted in burn, but possibly user error at play. Maybe I didn't put it on thick enough? Maybe I should have reapplied? Pros: it's hydrophobic, goes on clear, spreads nicely Cons: hard to wash off.

Great product

I love this sunscreen. I have been searching for a good mineral sunscreen for my very sensitive skinned toddler. I have used Badger brand before but the squeeze tube was SO thick it was very hard to get it out of the tube. No problem at all for the tin. Just scrape a little out and good to go. A little goes a long way, no one in my family have gotten burned using this and we spend all day, every day at the pool in summer, under high to very high UV. We have a variety of skin tones from fair to deep and while this DOES have a slight white cast it rubs in very well and is not bad, you won't look like a ghost in this. Some members of my family are worried about "toxic" sunscreen ingredients, and this one has only 4 ingredients and you could actually eat it. It's a win-win for me. Also, I love that the it's not in a plastic tube! Environmentally friendly too! Good for babies and good for grown-ups, good on all skin colors, good for the environment, good for sensitive skin. One downside is that it IS greasy, I personally don't mind that though.

This product was amazing! Easy to carry in the little hockey puck tin. Protected our skin very well and stayed on for quite some time.

The only thing that would make this even better would be a tinted option — which I'd use daily. I use this regularly when going on long sunny walks or long pool/beach days in the sun. This sunscreen leaves my skin hydrated and healthy (zinc is so good for the skin). I refuse to use chemical sunscreens! I also ADORE the tins. Wonderful packaging that's so easy to carry anywhere. After 5 straight days in the sun (sweat dripping down my face during my entire walk on one occasion), Badger SPF left me burn-free and healthy, with just a touch of color. I'd didn't even reapply! It doesn't burn my skin or eyes which tend to be very sensitive. To clarify/reiterate how awesome this product is: I use tretinoin which makes skin even more sensitive to the sun. Mineral SPF daily is a MUST. Badger keeps me sunburn-free on my face, neck, and tattoos time and time again. What a great product from a great company. Im hooked on you, Badger!

I found this company through iHerb when I was looking for a good mineral sunscreen without too much white cast and enough SPF. Fell in love with the values, and staying for the freaking great sunscreen! I have very sensitive combination skin with cool facial undertones and warm neck and body undertones, and this sunscreen is a dream come true! I usually find sunscreens offensive from strong odors and a oily residue feeling, but this feels fantastic when it's applied. I usually don't like facial oils too, but the finish during application feels matte, and doesn't leave my glasses sliding off my face. Highly recommend and can't wait to try the SPF 50! I also love the packaging. Definitely something that would fit in a bag, purse, or pocket, and love that it's reusable!

***Simply the best.*** Most natural sunscreens branded for active or water wear are either: difficult to apply; drip into eyes when sweating; feel sticky/gross/hot; are too white, even ghoulish on face; or wear off/rub off too quickly. This is literally the only one to NOT to any of that. We've tried them all. A little goes a long way with this one and it's strong enough for high afternoon sun in the summer. The 50 SPF also works but will leave a slight white cast; I reserve this for long, intense exercise in the sun. The solid format is also air travel friendly and very packable! I found I actually prefer this now to squeezable tubes. Because I have naturally oily/greasy skin and hair, I thought this meant I needed extremely drying skin products. The opposite is actually true! My skin is so much healthier and clearer since using this multiple times per week before outdoor activities. Drying products actually promote greasy and blemished skin. This is because your skin is compensating for soap and other drying skin care products (even natural soap is "antimicrobial" in the sense of dissolving the cell walls of microbes, which is why it works so well at eliminating germs but is therefore not as awesome on your face, etc.)

This is the best mineral sunscreen. It stays where I put so it doesn’t hurt my eyes later.

I have been looking for a sunscreen for years. I try one, I get visible, extremely itchy hives that last maybe a week, then I avoid all sunscreen completely for months. I've been in this cycle for over 10 years and have also avoided the sun as a result. I never burn luckily, but as I enter my 30s, I was determined to find one for daily use. This is the only sunscreen my skin tolerates!!! It doesn't have a weird scent to it and goes on nicely, but my bar was pretty low--just no hives. You have to really rub at the sunscreen to use enough, but again I don't mind. It feels nice on the skin. The only thing I haven't tried is using it under makeup. 100% recommend and will be trying other Badger products now!

I live and work on a sailboat, and spend half of the year in the Caribbean where I am in the water everyday. I have been searching for a mineral sunscreen that is TRULY reef/environmentally friendly, good for my skin, and rubs in clear. I have finally found it! To top it all off, this sunscreen is made using ethically-sourced ingredients by a company with good values. The tin size is perfect for travel. I will definitely be ordering more of this in the future.

I bought this due to the brand & packaging, and I'm keeping it because of the product inside! The consistency is good and it goes on clear. I like what it's made of and the smell is nice. After purchasing online I also found out that Sprouts carries it! Happy to have buying options.

The first place I always get sunburned is my forehead, so I was looking for a great natural mineral sunscreen that would keep the sunburn at bay on my face. I have tried several, but this one really works! It even gave sun protection when I was afraid I had sweated most of it off. With most mineral sunscreens, I have gotten that dreaded white cast, but this one soaks right in with a nice glow. I use setting powder on top so that it stays put, but I don't think I even need it. A keeper for sure!

Best sunscreen I have ever used. Doesn't sting my sensitive eyes.

This is a thick but easy to spread cream. I feel confident it is protecting my skin. I use it on my face, neck, ears, and decolletage. It's white in the tin but once it is rubbed and warmed by my hands, it goes onto my face without the white tint. I appreciate that it isn't full of chemicals. I wash it off my hands after I have applied it because it would be a greasy mess if I didn't.

We are market gardeners and the badger balm last as long as we can in the sun!

Portable, effective, biking, swimming, pickle ball etc

I've tried tons of different mineral sunscreens and this one is the best I've used. Little to no white cast and comes in a sturdy metal container that can be recycled. Love it
