A: Hello and thank you for your question. You cannot check in or carry on a Balloon Time Mini Helium Tank on a plane. Helium tanks are considered compressed gas cylinders, which are classified as hazardous materials by the TSA and FAA.

Please contact your local solid waste authority for more details. Even if they do not accept the Balloon Time tank, they should be able to provide information on how to dispose of it. It’s a good idea to ask about any scheduled waste collection events in your area that will accept these items. A general web search like "Household Hazardous Waste disposal near me" or "cylinder recycling near me" may provide information on local disposal options along with potential pickup and drop off sites in your area.

DO NOT BUY- it only blew up 6 9” balloons and within an hour only one stayed floating. Way too expensive - total waste- and now I can’t dispose of the metal container, no one will take it.

Definitely did not get 20 balloons. Think it was about 16. Most fell to the ground within a day. Just go find a store and buy filled ballons.

If I could give this a zero I would. Don't waste your money. I used this tank to fill a mylar balloon and it does not float, like at all. This helium is terrible, I could have filled with an air pump and gotten the same effect. Super disappointed.

This tank actually worked fine, but the balloons that Target sells along side don't hold helium. They should sell the right balloons. The Target balloons I filled looked great right away, but 12 hours later they were on the floor. So when I put out a bouquet of balloons at night to surprise my daughter in the morning, it was disappointing. A total waste of money and a ruined celebration.
