Q: I have a corn on the underside of my foot and it often makes contact with the ground when I walk. Will this bandaid stay on if it makes regular contact with the ground?
submitted by K Lee - 9 months ago
A: Hello, our HYDRO SEAL® bandages can stay on for multiple days, even through hand washing and showers.
submitted byJohnson & Johnson - 9 months agoBrand expert
Q: why does it turn white?
submitted by Dana - 1 year ago
A:Â Within 24 hours of applying the bandages, a while bubble forms that cushions the wound and shows that healing has begun. The bubble forms as the bandage wicks excess moisture away from the wound.

This product really worked to heal a blister caused by new shoes. It took a few days (re-applied fresh band-aids 2 times) but my heel is better now.

I was walking in Vegas and came back and had a small water blister on the back of my heal…. I placed them on it and it felt amazing! Forgot I even had it on, or that my heel had hurt in the first place. Now I always pack them when we go on trips.

Question - 3 months ago
Ok I don’t use this for blisters. I mean I would if I had the need. It’s cushioned and can see how it would relieve the pain in addition to it being medicated. I got this after a viral tiktok vid for acne. Why bother with acne patches. I did a lot of research and it is safe to use instead of the acne patches. Can cut them up to the sizes that you need and u can get a good amount of from each piece. So cheaper than using those acne dots. And I feel it sticks on much better than the acne stickers for overnight.

I brought these for some terrible blisters I got on the bottom of my heel. I followed the directions but can not seem to get them to stick. They seem to fall off after about 10 minutes. Was very hopefully I’d have some relief but just doesn’t seem like this product is going to offer that.

I've used the other hydroseal products with no issues, and highly recommend them. I bought these in Florida because my sandals were giving me blisters. I used these following the directions exactly, and it tore my skin clean off of my foot. I'm assuming the heat fused the glue to my skin too hard in the center?? I've been through some serious pain, but cleaning my torn up foot almost made me pass out. Use their other products!!

I had several blisters due to one of my shoes rubbing the back of my heel. I was traveling and walking a lot so it got worse when I was away. When I finally got home I luckily found these. They stayed on well for quite while, significantly lessened the pain. and healed me of my awful blisters. Thank you!!

Works well! Used around my fingernail

These are probably the reason my finger didn’t get continue to get infected and lose a nail/need medical attention. Here’s a detailed account of my experience — I had a hangnail on my dominant index finger that I stupidly ripped off, and unfortunately that finger ends up in my 1.5 year old rescue dog’s mouth a lot for various reasons. The skin on the edge of my nailbed where the hangnail once was filled with pus, so before I got these I cleaned it with alcohol drained what I could, cleaned it again, and applied some Neosporin with a regular bandaid overnight. By morning it looked a little better but since fingers literally touch everything, I knew I needed something else if I wanted it to stay that way. Enter these hydro seal hydrocolloid bandaids. Hydrocolloid patches are amazing for healing zits, which are technically open wounds, so I had a feeling this would work well for my small finger wound. After reading a lot of reviews to get an idea about the product’s use and effectiveness, I bought these and I’m so glad I did! Because I was using around my fingernail, it was tough to fit it well and I ended up pressing the edges together over the top of my finger and then using cuticle scissors to cut around the sealed edges it so there weren’t awkward corners. It held very well for the most part, but because I cut around the top, I think that made it easier to separate from itself. However, I found it easy to pinch the edges back together and my finger began to heal nicely! I wish I remembered to take a p icture after applying. I wore one for 24 hours and another for 48-60 hours. When I removed the 2nd one, the thin top layer of skin that remained over where the pus had been came off but the skin has healed well and a week later my nailbed is almost fully intact again. I doubt many people need these for the same reason I did, but it would be really awesome if there were fingertip versions of these.

Even though these are 4x the price of regular band aids, they don't hold on a blistered area. Mine fell off after less than 24 hour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hydroseal blister bandages seal in moisture/seal out bacteria and dirt to speed up the healing process of blisters. They also provide a great barrier/protection when wearing shoes that rub the blister.

I have hyperpigmentation that gets worse with uv exposure, even with spf on, and I put this on my face. Pros: it has a satin texture that did catch in my hair at all, it seals all around, it is flexible and didn't pull, pretty comfortable and it kept the sun off the hyperpigmentation spot. Cons: It bonded to my face so strongly, and there was no easy way to remove it like with nasal strips (warm soapy water). I thought it would come off easier after a day or two, nope. I soaked a cotton ball with olive oil and left it over top of the badage for severl minutes. Then I ever so slowly peeled it back, keeping olive oil on the edge as I peeled it off. I wanted it to work but the adhesive was too strong to be used on my face. I read people use lotion before putting this on to make it less sticky.
