The sunscreen itself is great, but the bottle is garbage. I have had two of these and both bottles stopped spaying after it sat a couple days. I don't know if it's clogged or lost the stuff that helps it spray.

We love the Bare Republic Sunscreen brand but this is the 2nd can of spray we have received this summer that does not spray. We have numerous cans that do so it’s definitely not user error on this one. Disappointed that that $17.99 a can that they keep coming in defective.

I loved this at first until the pressure mechanism in the can broke. I only got to use it one or two times and then the bottle decided to stop spraying. There is obviously still plenty of sunscreen in the bottle because when you shake it you can feel it, but nothing comes out when you spray. Very disappointed! :(

This is a great option for a spray, mineral sunscreen. Not the best with ingredients but it’s much better than most drug store brands. People complain it turns you white… well it’s a mineral sunscreen. It’s not too bad. Absorbs fast.

I really wanted to like this “clean” sheer spray sunscreen, but it was horrible! It is not sheer! It is white and thick. The spray splatters and blobs. You have to rub it in. So disappointed and it is EXPENSIVE!!

Like all mineral / physical blockers, it's white. I apply with a little lotion to help it go on more smoothly, but I don't need as much lotion with this brand. Smells great, works well when applied well, and includes no known hormone disruptors (I'm looking at you, Avobenzine). I really like that it contains no benzines (believed to be harmful to marine life), and since all our waterways lead to the ocean, I avoid those chemical sunscreens. This is one of the better, lower cost suncreens available.

I was drawn to it as being one of the only cruelty-free brands offered at Target. However, it says it’s “sheer zinc-oxide” and it’s absolutely not sheer. It applies white but when rubbed in it’s still white. I went in the pool and it made my entire body white and started leaking sunscreen off of me in white drips and streaks in the pool. I didn’t overly apply because I’m not someone who burns but it’s an embarrassing about of white if you’re going to be in public. I’m returning it to Target because it’s not sheer as advertised.

The only spray mineral sunscreen I have found that actually works. It’s also not super greasy! Perfect for those who have sensitive skin and those who have sensory issues with feeing sticky! It makes applying so much quicker and easier! The first couple sprays might come out clear, just give it a second and maybe a lil shake and it will come out white! The clear doesn’t have the zinc in it!

I'm surprise by all the negative reviews. We love this sunscreen! We've been buying and using it for several years. The scent is great and doesn't smell chemically. We prefer to spray it in our hand and apply most of the time, but in general it rubs in much easier than a thick cream sunscreen. You cannot just spray it on and not rub it in or it won't work well (similar to most spray sunscreens). We swim almost every day during the summer and this covers us well for at least a couple hours (pool or beach). We've tried other brands and always come back to this. Another spray on brand we used only lasted 3 days at the beach (family of 4) whereas this bottle lasts us at least a month if not longer.

I bought this for a day out at a water park. I liked that it was mineral and water proof. However, it looked like I spray painted my legs white, even the ground around my feet stayed white. Like albino white. It definitely is water proof. I swam and was in the sun all day. I didnt burn so thats a plus. But it barely came off with soap and water. It is going to take a few showers to get it all off.

I barely need any SPF to avoid a burn. Typically I wear no more than SPF 15, but most days I use SPF 8. I applied this 3 times over the course of 2 hours and ended up with little patches of sunburn anywhere my skin touched anything. No swimming, no toweling off, not excessively sweating. If I were someone more prone to burning, this would have been a disaster. Do not chance this.

While the smell of this is absolutely amazing, it leaves a white residue from the zinc and has to be rubbed in. Even with SPF 30 we both got burnt using this. It says waterproof up to 80 minutes, we didnt even last in the water 30 minutes before we could tell it was wearing off.

This literally didn’t work. Our family of 3 used this on vacation and (even after reapplying multiple times) we ALL got fried. It smells great, and I was super hopeful, but you’re better off just putting on body lotion.

this spray goes on easily. I like that you can see where you applied it. make sure you don't get too close because it ends up being a big splotch. if you do it right, you don't need to rub it in. if you have a lot of splotches, you may need to distribute it evenly. also, just like with any sunblock, it'll ruin your clothes if it gets on it.

This sunscreen cost $20 and did not work at all. My husband and I were at the beach and reapplied every hour and both got severely burned. It also says “sheer” but it sprays on white and doesn’t blend easily. Wish I had checked reviews before buying.
