Where's the old formula?!

Super disappointed they stopped making the old formula of sunscreen that was not water resistant!!! It was so moisturizing! I had been using it on my sensitive rosacea skin for the last 5 years. Now I have to find something else comparable ugh! The water resistant formula is decent but definitely not as moisturizing to me and has more of a white cast. Also harder to wash off face at the end of the day. It would be great if they could sell both water resistant and NOT! So we have options. Please bring back the old formula Pipette!
Reformulated and less product

I don’t know why they reformulated this but it feels different, it is super hard to apply now also it is less product for more money.

The company changed the formula and it changed everything about the original sunscreen. They were trying to make it water resistant and in doing so, they made the formula thick and chunky. It’s so hard to spread on. Please bring back the old formula!
New formula is horrible. Don't buy.

New formula is horrible. Major white cast left. Thick and not easy to apply. We loved the old formula. This ruined it and I've switched to a different brand going forward. Blue Lizard sensitive spf 50 with aloe is a decent replacement in case you're on the hunt like I was.
New formula is awful!

My son is allergic to most sunscreens so we were super excited when he didn't react to Pipette. That is until they completely changed the formula! Now the sunscreen is thick, hard to rub in, gets clogged in the tube super easily and makes my son break out in hives. Awful change and sad that we won't be buying anymore.
Runs in well for a water resistant mineral sunscreen!

This a new formula, however I am so glad that it is more resistant to water now! It does leave more of a white cast than the old formula, but it still rubs in much easier than most water resistant mineral sunscreens. I also love the size and shape of the bottle. It’s so easy to keep tucked in the diaper bag or even in my belt bag!
White cast even on light skin

Feels fine, but leaves a white cast. Not sure how fair skinned the people who reviewed it as having no white cast were, but as a white person I cannot use this.

I wanted to like this but I’ve purchased multiple bottles and at least half of them have gotten clogged and you can’t even get the product out. It’s a complete waste of money.
Stay away!

The new formula is horrendous! Thick, grainy, super white cast, impossible to rub in, more expensive for less product, and skin cannot breathe with this thick pasty goop on it. Not sure which skin tones they tested this on but clearly it was not tested on anyone darker than pasteurized whole milk. Who at Pipette thought this was a good idea? Their responses on social media posts indicate that they took their community’s suggestions into account when creating this reformulation - I highly doubt anyone requested that they take a perfect formula and ruin it. The reviews/ratings here and on Pipette’s website are very telling. If this many customers have such negative feedback, word to the wise: stay away from this one.
White Cast :/

I wanted this as a facial sunscreen but it takes a long time to rub into my skin and it still leaves a white cast.

I actually like the new formula better as it’s not as greasy and gave me a more matte finish. I have sensitive skin and this also seems even less irritating than the old formula. Finished the whole tube and will buy a new one for sure.

Used to be my fav for the kids but now it's just so grainy no matter how much you shake the tube. Will not buy again.

The formula was recently upgraded to make the product water resistant. In the process they compromised the primary merit of this product which was the zero white cast. The product is no more blendable in the skin, curdles badly

The new formula leaves a strong white cast and never seems to rub in. We loved the old formula for our toddler - very disappointed.

This will leave a white cast and is sort of drying. I can get away with the white cast, but someon with a medium or deep skin tone might not appreciate it. That being said, it is the safest mineral sunscreen for pregnancy.
Peace of mind and not one sunburn.

I have been using this sunscreen on myself and my kids all summer and we have not had any issues. I have extremely sensitive skin and have had to switch out all of my products to fragrance free this past year. If you rub this sunscreen in, there is no white cast. I'm also at the pool a good 3-4 days a week and have to taste other people's strong smelling, spray on sunblock every single day. Needless to say, as a very picky Mom of three, I just bought more of this sunscreen yesterday.

This is objectively great. Worth buying. No, it is not as good as the old formula, but way better than the other mineral fragrance free non-nano zinc sunscreens.

Bring back the old formula. Hate this one because it leaves a white cast and it’s not as moisturizing as the previous formula.
