Barebones Beacon Hanging Light, Copper

We have two of these lanterns that we use infrequently. We recently had a power outage and we found a use for these other than camping. It had probably been over a year, maybe two since the batteries had been charged. Hope was realized when the lanterns glowed in full power for about an hour. The electricity was still out so I connected the lanterns to a power pack until the power resumed. I recommend these units.

The Beacon Hanging Light is small and portable, can hang on a branch or hook or stand upright on its own, and having the charging cord attached but easy-to-tuck-away is brilliant. Its smaller size and light weight makes it easy to keep handy, and it seems to hold its charge for a LONG time - it's a universal favorite for good reason. Now that Barebones has added a variety of colors, it gave me an excuse to give a few more as gifts! I love these.

I own three Beacon Hanging Lights and use them as illumination for my clothes closets. They from the shelving unit and provides bright light or a dim light if I don’t want to wake my partner. this lantern provides a great warm light across a wide area in a very compact format. My favorite camping lantern by far.

The clip on top doesn’t seem to be attached well enough to support a small amount of weight provided by the light itself. I own several of these, and I thought I was doing something wrong as they broke easily and just the other night a light fell from its clip while hanging! I have about eight of these, and five are broken in exactly the same way way too much money for a disposable product.
