Always good quality & large collection of different shapes
I have used Barilla pasta in the past and have never been disappointed. I used these medium shells to make macaroni and cheese. Preparing the pasta was quick and simple as it took under 10 minutes. My dish was a hit at dinner for all of my family. I also appreciate that they are made with non-GMO ingredients.
I got this pasta a few weeks ago and I love using this brand. It cooks up perfectly every time and there is so much less starch in the water than other brands. I will continue using this brand from now on.
These pasta shells are very filling and tasty. There is so much in this one box once you boil them. My fiancé and I just mixed them with some pasta sauce, added veggies, topped everything off with some cheese and we had ourselves a quick and yummy dinner. There were a lot of left overs for just us two so if you're only cooking for yourself or for two I'd recommend only doing half of the box at a time.

Classic shells
Huge Barilla fan and these are ideal shape and size for macaroni and cheese. They hold sauce well and stay together despite a heavy sauce and lots of stirring.
I have always loved this pasta and I was glad to have some shells which I do not often buy. They were great with my meat sauce and the family enjoyed the meal. These would be great in pasta salads or definitely with a cheese sauce.

Yum! I love shell-shaped pasta because it goes well with so many sauces, but it also is great in tomato soup! It cooked quickly, was perfectly al dente, and came out delicious. Will be a regular in my pantry.
Overall, we really liked these. We cooked two batches of shells and enjoyed them both. Cooking for the eight minutes recommended for "al dente" left a small number of the shells undercooked, but adding a minute to the overall cook time remedied that issue. The shells were firm and retained their shape during cooking.
