    A clear winner!

    I bought this because it is supposed to be healthier than regular pasta. I wasn't sure if it would taste good because it is made with beans. I cooked some and it is delicious. It tastes heartier than regular pasta and it has extra protein and fiber. What's not to like?

    We had been getting lentil or chickpea pasta and my hubby doesn’t like the taste of it. When I bought this and served it to my family, my husband almost didn’t believe it had protein in it because it tastes just like normal pasta! If you’re going to have boxed pasta, may as well have some solid protein with it! Plus it feels good knowing I don’t have to add a meat protein source to pasta dishes, and I’m still getting protein in!

    Making Pasta Feel Less Guilty

    NO TASTE OR TEXTURE DIFFERENCE!!!

    This stuff is great if you are trying to add protein into your diet. Butter noodles, vodka sauce pasta, spaghetti, etc. No taste or texture difference at ALL. I cook 9-10 minutes until al dente. 70g protein for the whole box?! Well worth the $1 and some change upcharge.

    Delicious and filling!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barilla kindly gave me this protein pasta for free so that I could review it via Bzzagent. First and foremost, I love Barilla as a brand and often purchase their pastas. This particular product is a unique protein pasta but I really could not differentiate it from regular pasta which is a good thing. A lot of other types of protein pastas have an aftertaste but not this one. I made a veggie bolognese sauce and added the pasta to the sauce and my entire family enjoyed including my young kids. This will certainly make it into my weekly rotation of meals. I would definitely recommend it!

    Pleasantly surprising!!

    You can’t even tell this isn’t “normal” pasta. I love that this is an option to add more protein and fiber. It’s such a simple switch and you don’t have to compromise on taste.

    Protein pasta

    So good!
