Beaded and Charm Jewelry Craft Kit - Mondo Llama™

I bought this in April when it was $15. Target prices on Mondo Llama products have been bouncing around quite a bit since then. I think this was up to $20 briefly, now down to $17. Who knows what it will be when you read this review. While I expect higher prices as stuff comes in due to tariff impacts, these have been in the store for a while and they are a seasonal product so I don’t expect more coming in so I don’t understand the price increase. I was going to another as a gift for a friend, but balked at the much higher price-$17 is still worth it. I like this kit for the necklace options, as most jewelry kits lately are bracelets. It has a very nice assortment of charms that can fit a variety of interests, and the pearl beads are a nice addition I have not seen in many kits. Exact contents on the back seem accurate but when you open it, it seems like you’re getting more because it’s elevated in the storage box. The storage box is decent and can be reused. The lid is tight enough that beads should not slip from compartment to compartment. For anyone not used to using jump rings, the jump ring tip is a bit unclear. I’ve found the best way to bend a jump ring is to take the two ends and move them to the sides opposite each other, if you pull them apart so that the circle shape becomes distorted it is very hard to get it to go back correctly without a gap. And the easiest way to bend them without struggling is with two pair of needle nose pliers, or at least something to grip on one side and the needle nose to do the gentle bending.
