Q: Ours didn't come with an instruction booklet! No idea how to cook and harden this clay. A child needs instructions for how to complete this project.

Q: How do you get the clay to become heated and solid ? Oven temp to bake the clay at and does it come with a tray to put the clay beads on ?

A: Hello Issa - Appreciate your interest on this item. As per the instructions, the guest bakes at 300 degrees on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Duration for baking will depend on how thick the material is, this is also outlined in the instructions. I hope this information helps. - Nimra

I really liked the creativity aspect of this mondo llama kit, but I will say this is for older kids, teens, and adults. It was not easy to mold the clay, you had to really work it to get it to be moldable. If I did not have the patience that I have I probably would’ve given up. They turned out really cute tho and I love getting to wear the cutest DIY earrings. I liked that everything you need came in the kit but I wish the instructions were slightly more clear.

It’s definitely a craft for older teens or even adults. The tools are incredibly sharp. The glue was dried out. Not a great set. The directions aren’t clear, they don’t give you an oven temp for baking the clay.

Loved the idea behind this & enjoyed using the stamps and tools. Clay was good quality, but jump rings were too small to make multi- tiered earrings & the super glue was all dried up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jewelry kit looks a bit smaller than I was expecting. I think this would be a fun activity to have at a sleepover, of slightly older teens. The pieces are pretty sharp so, I think supervision would still be needed, just in case. The colors of the clay are nice and I like that there are a lot of style options to make. This kit is a bit on the heavy side. There are a lot of detailed instructions included inside. I received an incentive to write this review.

It does recommend you use materials not included. You need an oven, oven mitts, parchment paper, sheet pan, and pliers and a ruler. These additional items will complete your earrings out of the oven as well as protect you. Great for anyone with likes creating their own earrings and unique crafts. I think this would be great for a weekend activity to do with young girls. I think they would like this and find it very exciting. You could get this as a mom or a grandmother to spend quality time with your young ones. It has hooks and tools so it is definitley for older kids only. I think it’s a really good value for how many earrings it makes and everything it includes to shape the clay.
