I have only had this rice cooker for 6 months. During those 6 months I have ran into nothing but trouble. When cooking rice, it always never cooks completely until switching to warm. This kept happening while it was brand new, now today the light won’t even come on. Do not waste your buck on this, just get the good old reliable.

The point of a rice cooker is to put everything in one, then it will come out fully cooked. I have not once had this machine fully cook the rice the first time. The rule of thumb (and what is in the instruction book) is 2 parts liquid to 1 part rice. This machine gets so hot so fast that the liquid rises too fast to cook the rice. I have to add closer to 3.5 parts liquid to 1 part rice, otherwise it's burned and/or undercooked.

Loved it till it shorted out and stopped working after about 2 weeks. Used it maybe 5 times, then while cooking one time we came to check on it, it flipped a breaker, and smelled like burnt electricity.

I have had this rice cooker for less than 6 months. I have only used it bought a dozen times and today it slept switching to warm and did not cook the rice (still had water) I kept turning the switch to cook. I just went to check on the rice and RIP plum rice cooker. Won’t turn on. Not happy at all!
