This is NOT heavy duty metal but all plastic. Nothing is made to last. Very poor quality fabric if one can even call fabric - nothing study or heavy duty about this umbrella from the shade to the pole.

Very disappointed that this product faded so quickly. I didn't expect the brilliant orange color to last forever, but 3 months is totally not acceptable. I would say it lost 70% of the color. Considering it's supposed to be an umbrella, you would think it could withstand the sun's rays more than 3 months. Would not recommend this product. It does function as described.

I initially liked this umbrella, and it was a great price on sale. I opened/closed the umbrella maybe 6 times, and the handle has completely come apart to the point that it’s no longer functional. Didn’t expect the highest quality at this price but this didn’t even last a month. This item is either defective or complete garbage.

Do not buy!! Purchased in two different sizes. I’ve only had them out for several weeks and they are both broken. Cranks to raise up and down no longer work. Also,due to the fact they are from a third-party seller, cannot be returned due to being past company’s return policy! Poor quality and poor returns policy!!!

Came in 2 pieces, one box. 2 minutes tops from putting the base pole into my stand adding the top piece and cranking it open. I have a 4.5 feet depth on the shortest side of my 2nd floor balcony and I knew I could make this 7.5 foot umbrella work, with some overhang on the other side of the railing. There is some light bleed through the fabric as noted in one of my pictures. The rust color is rust/burnt orange color, but NOT orange. I purchased separately the Pure Garden 1/2 umbrella base made out of a resin material to accommodate my needs.
