A: Yes. The bag I just received says "consuming this product can expose you to Cadmium, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

A: I don't know the recommended daily total, but the recipes for smoothies I've seen use 1 Tbsp of hemp seeds, 1 Tbsp chia seeds, etc. A 'heart healthy' smoothie recipe I have also uses 1 cup hemp milk.

I have had terrible ibs for about 20 years and it's hard for me to regulate my diet. It was suggested adding chia, flax, and Hemp seeds to my diet by different doctors at different times and surprisingly this bag has all three at once so I was very excited and it does help for my situation. I add a scoop to my cereal in the morning or salad or veggie wraps at night and I really enjoy it. I know my situation is slightly unique of why I tried it but I think that it's great.

Seeds are good for you apparently
I must admit, I've never been one to trust food naming - I mean, come on "super" food, really? Now, looking into the details of this super seed blend, there's quite some interesting stuff - of course, chia seeds (a classic!), but also flax seeds and hemp seeds. All of that brings an healthy amount of Omega 3 and fibers into your body, which is recognized as being a good thing, especially considering our not so great daily diets. In the family, I'm not really the one recognized for picking up healthy foods, but my wife keep an eagle eye on things, and she is pretty happy with this seed mix. And, as the saying goes, when wife is happy, that's a good thing. Or something like that. Anyway. She says it has a pleasant nutty taste, which - I just checked the packaging - is apparently one of their claims, how convenient. She uses the seed mix into her salads or her weird breakfast concoctions, and she looks awesome (my judgment may not be partial on this one). She told me to leave a high rating, and I'm not one to question what she says - at least, not in front of her, nor in public spaces. In summary, this seed mix is great, try it!
